Chapter 1- Meeting the Guardian
The ambulance drove me back to my home, that won't be for long. I went straight to my room to pack everything I own. I got a few clothes and underwear packed before the house phone and my phone kept going off. I went and unplugged the house phone and turned mine off. I finished packing in 30 minutes and as I live in Miami I mostly had shorts and a couple pairs of jeans, I made a mental note to shop for more jeans as its freezing there. I then went downstairs to the living-room to play my Xbox until someone picks me up.
I saw a limo pull up into my driveway. A tall lady, probably in her mid forties, she had designer clothes, probably her brand. She greeted me and asked a man that looks like a bodyguard to help me with my bags, I took one that had my most important things in.
We boarded their private jet, that's how she got her so quick from Boston, I thought. I was gonna go to sleep but I wanted to know more about her and her family so I got the courage to ask, "Can I ask about you and your family?" I asked nervously, she just smiled and nodded for me to carry on, "What do you and your husband do for a living?" I asked shyly.
"Please just call me, Sophia, and my husbands name is George, I'm a fashion designer I think you already knew and George is a lawyer." She said proudly. That's pretty impressive m. I got even more questions but I was going to ask the most important one I could think of.
"How many children do you have, that's if you have any?" I asked really curious now.
"I have nine," She laughed when she saw my expression; wide eyes, mouth open, "Don't worry I only have seven living with me for now as two are in college."
"Can you tell me more about them"
"Well the eldest, Adam, he is 21 and is studying law.
My second eldest, Isaac, he is 19 and is doing biology.
Then there is the first set of twins, Jayden and Hayden, they are both 16 in their last year of high school, as well there is nick he is the only one who doesn't play sport and is in Year Eleven as well but he is a few months younger than the twins.
Austin is 13 and plays football,
then there's the other pair of twins, Cole and Chase, and they are identical and they are 11, don't worry if you get mixed up they'll understand. Cole plays rugby and Chase plays tennis and then there's the last one and he is adorable, Ryder he is 5 and plays baseball like Jayden and Hayden plays basketball." That's a lot of information to remember, I thought, but I will manage.
