I opened my eyes slowly so find my self on the floor. I realize I have to get ready rather than wondering how I got like this. I finds self a floral tanktop with some light wash jean shorts. I slowly changed my clothes. Then I walked into the bathroom to put on make up. I don't wear that much. I just put on foundation, powder, maskera, and lip gloss. It only takes about 2 minutes.

Next I brushed my teeth. I love the monthly feel after. Finally I brush my long blonde hair it flows down to my hips. It's the longest in the whole school. I walked down stairs so find my mom speaking on the phone.

"We'll she didn't take it well- yes I know- but- I don't know what to say to her when she comes down here- oh ok-" I could hear and egg start to sizzle, "I gotta go, love you- bye"

I could tell that that conversation was about me. I hate when parents talk about me on the phone.

"Oh sweetie, I have eggs ready!" She said, in a sweet voice.

"Mom, eggs give me bad breath," I replies in a normal voice.

"But you know that eggs are a good breakfast and good for you!" She responded quickly.

She gave me the eggs and I ate them slowly. Something is bothering me about the move I do t even know when we are moving.

"Mom, when are we moving?" I asked slowly.

There was a long pause. It seemed like she frozed with my back turned to me.

"We're gonna move on Friday right when you get home. We will be taking a flight."

"Wait... FRIDAY? That's four days!"

"Yes I know it's short knowtice but it will be fun!" I could tell she was lying.

It was a long time before we spoke again.

I looked at the oven time and it said 6:50 it was time to leave I grabbed my bag and walked to the door I slowly opened the door and said, "bye," then ran to the bus stop.

Tuesday, August 31 6:55

I waited outside for the bus. Alone, I knowticed that it was weirdly unhumid, which is strange for Tennesee. A slight noise of the bus was near. I have my own bus stop, a block down people have theirs. I never understood why I was alone I could always run their.

The bus stopped right infront of me, I'm the last stop, which makes it hard to find a seat, luckily My best friend is the first stop and she always sits in the back.

I walked up the 3 stairs into the bus, I never said anything to the bus driver. Everyone seemed so happy, and full of joy. It won't wear off on me today. I finally reached the back. Natila smiled at me.

"Hey you didn't answer my text last night," she said. I didn't want to tell her that I was moving yet she was in a good mood, and I didn't want to ruin that.

"Oh, sorry..." I paused, "I went to sleep early."

"Really that's not like you at all?" She replied.

"Ya I just got tired."

"Hey so can u hang out later today?"

"I don't think I can."

"Why?"

She always head butted into my business, a flaw I learned to leave with. I stared out the window for a while.

"Talia?" I woke up from spacing out.

"Oh I got in a fight with my mom and she grounded me."

"Oh."

The bus stopped at our school, Chest Nut middle school. We got off and Natila and I met up with our friends. Aisha, Roxy, and Layla. Aisha always was the ambishous type. Roxy was always on the new music. Layla was always the fashion girl with amazing taste, she always bought us outfits. Natila is the athletic one. Me? I'm the quiet one. I do independent sports like, tennis singles. That's it.

"Hey girls," Layla said.

"Roxy, I see you got new head phones." Natila remarked. Natila was wearing a pink Nike top with jean shorts.

"Yeah, there Beats, it feels like I've been asking for them forever."

Roxy was wearing a pair of pink head phones on her neck, with dark denim shorts and a pink crop top that went to her belly botton.

"Well what are we waiting for let's get going," Aisha busted in. She was wearing light denim shorts with a green strapless top.

"She's right and Talia, I love your outfit," said Layla. She was wearing a crochet heigh waste shorts that faded into brown with a black cami, and a jean jaket with a studded necklace.

We all began to walk into the building. It wasn't a very old school, only 2 years old. We're in the 7th grade, we walked into the building confedently.

Tuesday, August 31, 7:30 am

I arived at my locker and grabbed my books and binder I had LA first. LA is my worst subject, some how I manage to get an A. I walked in and sat down I was 3 minutes early, this is my class with Roxy. Rocky walked in listening to hear music and dancing around. Everybody loved her with her fun personality. If fact everybody lived our little group, we were never mean.

Rocky sat down in the seat next to me.

"Hey Talia! Listen to this new song that I got last night." It had a really good beat and it was a club song. I took the head phones off.

"Wow that's a good song!" I replied

"Yeah it came out yesterday."

The teacher walked in. She was strict and tall. Her hair was in a bun and she wore glasses, everybody was scared of her. She looks like she would care about neatness and order.

I began to space out for the whole lesson, like it mattered I'm leaving on Friday.
