Annabeth's eye's fluttered open as sat up on her bed and the groaned from the little sleep she had received. She got stumbled to her closet and opened it,her eyes widening.
Instead of her normal jeans and T-shirts, it was replaced with a blue sundress and grey sandels. Aphrodite was the first thought that ran through her head.
She sighed, but was too tired to even care at the moment. She really had no choice to wear it since the night before she felt too hot and took off her shirt leaving her sleeping in her sports bra and shorts. She would wear her shorts, but she had no shirt so it was worthless.
Aphrodite had somehow made her clothes disappear. Aphrodite would do anything to cause problems in relationships or help them. She just loved drama.
She could ask Piper to lend her some clothes, but she would not want anyone to see her on the ship. Especially Percy because that would be awkward even if he had seen her in a bikini before, but even then she was self conscious.
She quickly changed into the only clothes she could wear before brushing her hair and started walking towards the deck on the boat.
Percy was tired as he listened to the others the suddenly the room was silent and he looked up to spot Annabeth. His jaw dropped as he looked at her up and down.
She looked stunning in a blue dress, grey sandals, and her hair swept to the side. Piper was the first to recover and started to squeal.
"You look beautiful Annabeth," she exclaimed. Even Jason looked surprised which was probably because she never dressed like this.
Annabeth always stuck to her armor and jeans and t-shirts. She never found it important to play around with looks. It was a waste of time in her opinion.
Leo wolf whistled with a grin on his face. "You look good Annie," he jokingly said just to make her mad. Sure enough Annabeth glared at him and Leo shrunk back a little.
Percy was still looking at her in awe though, but he stopped when he saw her gaze on him. He blinked before smiling at her. No matter if she was wearing a dress or not it was still the Annabeth he loved.
He came towards her and planted a kiss on her cheek.
"What happened?" Percy wasn't that stupid. He could tell his girlfriend did not enjoy what she was wearing. Aphrodite was her reply as she whispered it in his ear. He lightly hummed at her answer.
"You look stunning still." Annabeth lightly blushed at his compliment. He pulled her into his chest. His nose was buried in her hair. She smelled like lemons to him. Annabeth wrapped her hands around his waist. She could not stay mad at Aphrodite's crazy plan because of Percy's sweetness.
She wasn't one to fish for compliments but she liked to hear from Percy that she looked nice every once and a while.
She pulled back after a few seconds of their lingering hug. She lightly tugged his arm towards the edge of the deck.
"You look nice too," she replied. She glanced down at him while her eyes lingered on his jeans that sat low on his hips and his Camp Half Blood t-shirt.
"I do,"was his reply before striking a pose. She laughed at his girly movement and punched him on the arm. Percy was the one who kept her going. He was always there to support her. His teasing and jokes made her life worth it. As long as Percy is by her side Annabeth would be okay.
She let her worries about Gaea go and all her frets about the future.Right now all she cared about was that she and Percy were okay. That's all that mattered anyways.
