Chapter 14 Distance

Eisuke Pov

After the talent contest am contacted by a producer and we meet at my office.

Producer: Am happy I can finally met you Mr Ichinomiya.

Eisuke: Nice too met you as well. So why did you call me for?

Producer: Let me introduce myself am Hiro Korata I was at the talent contest and when I heard your daughter play it was something.

Eisuke: Indeed, So am going to ask get too the point.

Hiro: Alright, I want too sponsor your daughter. I want to hold concerts, events, I want too sell merchandise. I want too show the world how talented your daughter is! So what you say!?

The offer is tempting but.

Eisuke: Give me time I want too talk about it with my family first.

Hiro: Of course, here is my number contact me when you have an answer.

He leaves his offer got my interest but I want too know what Luna feels about it. So after dinner We sit on the couch to discuss the offer.

Luna: Eh Mr. Korata wants to sponsor me?

Eisuke: Correct. Before I said anything I wanted too know what you want.

Luna: What I want?

Asuka: Luna we support your decision what ever you choose so what is it you want.
Asuka speaks in a motherly tone.

Luna takes a while to think about it. Then she has an answer.

Luna: Mom, Dad I want too do it.

Asuka: You sure?

Luna: Yes am sure.

Eisuke: Alright I'll call him and tell him we have an answer.

Luna Pov

It was a couple of days when I accept the offer. I go to recording studio and record my music. Its fun soon am playing concerts I have CDs  my name become well known it was a great joy but I start to distance myself from Ryu. We text each other and call but we couldn't met up because of my schedule. Soon its our second year of high school and more matter what I do people get in my way. Ryu and me spend less time together. The distance between us is so far apart. Then one day I get a call.

Luna: Hey so whats up.

Ryu: Nothing I just want too talk.

Luna: I see so what is it you want too talk about?

Ryu: Is it that hard to figure out.

Luna: What are you talking about.

Ryu: Luna when was the last time we saw each other face to face.

Luna: Um well the last time was a couple of months ago.

Ryu: Thats right. Luna there is so much distance between us.

Luna: Ya.

Ryu: So let me ask you this if you had too choose who would you choose the path you on now or me which one.

His question caught me off guard but

Luna: If I had too choose I would choose you.

Ryu: Then why haven't you.

Luna: Eh?

Ryu: Luna am sorry but it over I can't stand us being so far apart. Good bye.

He hangs up am sit there with my mind gone. My boyfriend broke up with me. Soon I couldn't play properly I couldn't get my emotions straighten out. A week past and I couldn't get over him. So I went to master to talk about it.

Leon: Luna tell me what are you happy with?

Luna: What am happy with?

Leon: Are you happy with the way things are or your happy when your with him?

Luna: ..........

I don't know

Luna: Master I want to follow my dream but I want too be with him I don't know.

Leon: What is your dream.

My dream?

Luna: To play the violin.

Leon: Thats right play. You can do that anywhere and playing a violin can happen anytime but true love only happens once. Understand.

Luna: Yes.

I get up

Luna: Master thank you.

I run off to see Ryu. I arrived at his house hopping for him to answer. To my luck he dose.

Ryu: What you want.
He speaks in a cold voice.

Luna: I want too talk please.

He takes a while, then he speaks

Ryu: Alright come on in.

When I enter his house I notice it just us.

Luna: Where is everyone?

Ryu: Mom and Cloe when to stay at a friends house tonight.

Luna: I see.

We go onto his bedroom and sit to have a serious talk.

Luna: Ryu , am going to be honest I can't stand it. I can't stand us being apart I want too get back together.

Ryu: What about your career?

Luna: I don't care anymore, all I want is you.

Ryu: Hmph I see, I wasn't the only one then.

Luna: Eh?

Ryu: When we broke up my heart was in pain I didn't enjoy it I was lost, I was swallowed in darkness. All I wanted was you.

I start to cry am looking  down at he floor.

Luna: Am am am so sorry I was stupid I hate everything I I I.

Ryu grabs me wipes my tears away and hugs me.

Ryu: Its ok we will get through it together.

Luna: Ryu.

We kiss each other. Then we make love to each other that night our skin felt each others warmths I didn't want to let it go. I announced my retirement. I would play one more contest I told my parents about my retirement and me getting back with Ryu. Mom is happy with my decision and dad said he only wants what makes me happy. Soon We start to plan my last concert. After that I will spend my life with Ryu.
