Chapter 10

Riley

"I'm homeeee!" I could smell lasagne wafting through the air and calling me towards the kitchen and I'm guessing mothers home!
I loved it when mums home cos obviously she cooks food and we get to spend time together, watch movies and just talk.

It's kinda boring without her or when she does late shifts cos I don't see her for a whole day or two.

I've never spoken about my dad cos they got divorced when I was younger and didn't bother contacting us. So I left it as well.

"Hey sweetie, how was school?"

Well there's a total douchebag in my school who's quite annoying and full of himself and acts like a p*ick but he's a good looking one though. Erm what?....

"It's okay, boring as usual and stuff" she let out a little laugh and handed me a plate. That lasagne was goood! I mean what can I say? When I see food, I turn into an animal.

After finishing clearing up we spent time by watching movies with Ryan Guzman, Channing Tatum basically all the good looking men.

"Honey?" "Yeah..."

"i invited the Grays over tomorrow for dinner so make sure to dress up neatly and make a good impression."

Did my mum just say Grays? Does that mean....? Ugh God why do you hate me?

"Umm..why?" She gave me a puzzled look, "what do you mean why? It's been a few weeks since they came to the neighbourhood so we should welcome them nicely"

I had no way getting out of this even if I tried it would fail definitely cos I'm such a bad liar.

"Fine..."

School was the same as usual, kiana giving me dirts and glares, teachers giving out homework. Whoever created this hellhole I hate you!

Charlotte didn't come in so I've been hanging out with Jake, he's like close mate but isn't someone I would tell personal things to cos he can never keep his gob shut.

The Bell finally rang to alert the students that schools over...which I didn't want to happen cos of what's gonna happen later. I really couldn't be asked but I guess I have to.

As soon as I came home, I saw my mum prepping the table and laying the plates and utensils out. She really wants to make a good impression.

So I went straight into the shower and once that was over I got into a light blue aztec print dress (if you wanna change the dress then go ahead), curled my hair and wore flats.

"Riley come downstairs and meet Ms Gray!" Coming!

I went into the living room and found Ms Gray sitting down at the dining table.
"Nice to meet you Ms Gray" I shook hands with her and got a smile in return. Why couldn't her son be the same?

I could feel him glaring at me but decided to ignore it, "Please call me Amanda," Yes I will m- i mean Amanda.

Dinner wasn't bad, my mum and his mum started to find out things about each other, and asked questions to me that I replied with short replies.

But the only thing I hated was that I had to sit next to Jayden. I could see him giving quick looks and then turning away.

"So Jayden is it? How is school? Don't you and Riley got to the same school? Is there any gossip about new couples or cheats?"

"Mom stop your embarrassing me!"

"No it's Ms Wood, actually we do and it's going alright but everyone's jealous of Riley since me and her are together"

He had his devilish smirk on his face meaning he was up to something.

I chocked on my food hearing the last part and my eyes nearly came out their sockets "No No No! Nothing like that is going on!"

His mum had a smile appearing on their faces "it's fine with us cos a nice girl like you who knows...you might create a new person out of him"

He sniggered "yeah right mum, she won't be able to change for shi..." His mum gave him "the look" which made him realise it wasn't the correct word choice.

I got up from the table and excused myself to go upstairs, I was near my bedroom door when an arm pulled me from the back.
I was then faced with the devil himself.

I looked up to find him already staring at me, his eyes were a nice hazel/brown colour which glinted cos of the light. He also had faint dimples in his cheeks which was cute.

"Yes any problem? I think the door is downstairs which leads you outside not up here".

"So your not into me? You don't find me hot, handsome, good looking or s*xy?" He smirked and did I mention that made him look really hot? Okay I think I have teeny crush on this doof nothing big.

"Nope Not One Single BIT!"

"Oh yeah?" He let go of me and pinned me against the wall, he began nibbling on my ear, then started to leave trails of kisses down my neck that created me to shiver.

He stopped and looked at me before crashing his lips on mine then ripped his lips off me and began to walk down the stairs.
"Nice to know I have an effect on you princess" and left.

I heard a few mumbles before the front door slammed shut and I let out a sigh...

Now that Riley got a tiny crush on him do you think it'll turn into something bigger? Or will Jayden just be up to his tricks?
