It was an april day when Adrian had had it. He had had it with his terrible life. His father was distant, and no one except a few people treated him like a person just like himself. And he decided to change things. So early that morning, before anyone else in the area was up, he transformed into chat noir and left to a hotel on the outskirts of Paris, without so much as a note.
It was at the start of physics class when people realized that something was wrong. Gabriel had assumed that his son was already at school, so he didn't worry much about his whereabouts. But when Adrian didn't show up for any of his classes, the school called Mr. Agreste. He told them that he thought Adrian had went to school early, and they said that they thought Adrian was at home. None of his friends had seen him; not even the crazed fans who knew where he was every second of the day. That was when the news headlines officially read that Adrian Agreste was missing. And all of Paris went into a frenzy.
