Chapter 10

-------Before--------

Thalia tells Annabeth about the rumors a bit. Annabeth is called to the big house. Percy is there.

-----Present--------
Annabeth
"As you see there are some Hellhounds, Dracena, Empousai, and many more monsters killing innocent lives of many mortals. I want you guys to go find there hideout for us to destroy it. So far any questions?"

"Yes" I said right away.

"What is it Annabeth?" Chiron asks.

"Why are these monsters killing the mortals?" I asked

"I am getting to that, but if you want to know right away it's because they are doing Kronos's bidding."

"KRONOS????" Me and Percy yell.

"Yes Kronos. He is the Titan of Time. You guys have studied him haven't you?

"Yes" I say "No" Percy says at the same time.

"Well when you get your stuff ready you can explain to him Annabeth." Chiron says.

"Okay, but how many people are there going to be in total going on this quest?" I asked.

"There will be you two and 5 others." He paused. "Your transportation is coming but it will be in a few days." He continues.

"Who are the other 5?" I ask.

"That I can't tell you at the moment but tonight after dinner come meet me here and the others will be here to." He replies.

Percy
So I kissed Annabeth yesterday, and she's still mad at me. I'm going on a quest to find some hideout of this evil Titan, and to make things better we have to leave in a few days. I just wanted to stay at school and rest or even hang out with my friends. Being a demigod is so hard.

Annabeth
Percy was just standing there dazed at everything Chiron just said.

"You are dismissed." Chiron says.

I rushed out of the big house and ran into someone. I looked up to see who it was.
"Woah there blondie watch where your running." The guy says. I studied him for a moment. He had blonde hair with blue eyes. "Luke?" I asked with amusement.

"Hello Annabeth, It's been a long time hasn't it?" He said. He grabbed me off him and set me on the ground. "I have to get going but I'll talk to you soon." He said after a while. He left then jogged to the big house.

Percy
I raced after Annabeth to see where she was going. I saw her but didn't want to go after her in case she wanted to hurt me. I watched her from the windows. She ran into someone and I saw the feeling she gave him after she saw him. My chest felt like it was just going to burst into a million pieces. The guy talked to her for a minute then jogged to the big house. He nodded at me and said hi. "Hello" I replied. He walked to the front desk and said he had something to report in.

I walked out of the big house after that.
My stomach felt like it was in a big knot.
I didn't know why.

Annabeth was still standing there dazed.
I yelled to her "Hey Annnabeth, whatchu doing?" I asked. I was cautious of hpw she would react but she just shrugged.

"Im getting ready to go so, bye." She replied.

My chest hurt even more. I wish I regretted saying something.

Annabeth
I'm confused why is Luke here? I'm confused on my feelings for him. Ughh why is my life complicated.

--------Timeskip dinner--------
I was walking torwards the campfire to give a offering to Athena. Someone bumped into me I looked up to see who it was. "Watch where your going!" The person exclaimed.

I saw sea green eyes first. Who has sea green eyes? But the rest of there face was cloaked.

"Excuse me." I said politely, and walked away.

"WAIT" The person yelled. I paused and turned around. "Here you forgot this." He paused "Annabeth." and in his hands was my necklace.

"Oh thank you." I replied. I didn't even realize my necklace was gone. I took my necklace back and walked away. I paused and turned around he was still there. "Who are you?" I asked.

He didn't answer just smiled and left. I walked to the big house and Chriron was waiting.

"Annabeth glad you came first, I have something to tell you in person." He said. "Come with me." I followed Chiron into the big house.

Percy
Glad Annabeth didn't recognize me, I should wait a bit since Annabeth just went to the big house.
