HEY GUYS. IM BACK. I'm really sorry I haven't updated this in like a year. I think it was purely procrastination. But I'm gonna try and get this story back on its feet. Enjoy.
Grayson

"So, Gray, how was your party?" my mom asks me. I take a bite of my spaghetti and try to think of how to word this.
"Um, funny thing, actually. Uh, so, this girl walked into the shop right in the middle of our party, and, uh..." I stutter. "Well, she said we were being recruited."
My parents both freeze. Slowly, carefully, they looked each other the eyes. I think I saw a tear slip down my mother's cheek.
"For a place called... what was it called? Di-"
"Diterra," my dad interrupts me. "Yeah. We know."
"Honey, she wasn't lying. She's not crazy," my mom mumbles.
"What's going on? Am I really going away?" I ask.
"Yeah, uh, I guess you are," my dad answers slowly. "Um, after you're finished eating, go pack up your things. When did she say she would be back?"
"Two days..." I whisper. I can't eat anything else. I've lost my appetite. I stand up slowly and go to my room.

Do we have anything that can fit fourteen years worth of belongings into? Well, does anyone? I don't think so.
I wonder what it'll be like. Will I get to see Azalea and Coen as often as I normally do? I have no idea.
No use worrying over it, though. You can't change what's not in your hands.
I head up into the attic to try and find a huge suitcase. Or two.

A/N: Sorry this chapter's so short. I guess I don't really like writing in Grayson's POV, I find him to be a bit boring tbh. Not sure if I'll be writing in his POV again, unless something major happens to him *wink wink*. This has been another overly-long author's note.
