Jessica's POV

I didn't expect it. I thought we were just going to have dinner, but then he got on one knee and it all seemed to fast. My heart pumped rapidly and lost control of the beat it once had. His image seemed blurry and soon I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Yes" I mange to say with a distorted mind. He gave me a warm smiled that only made my heart beat faster. He slipped the ring onto my finger and we both enjoyed the rest of the young night. I was still in shock by the end of the night and just couldn't really take my eyes of the ring.

We went back to the hotel and I called Kyle to tell him the good news.

"He what?" He said shocked.

"He proposed and I said yes." I giggled.

"Wow, well, uhm, congrats sis. I'm just really shocked right now. Didn't imagine my baby sister getting married." He gave a small chuckle at the end.

Jake was sitting next to me, hearing the while conversation. All three of us were silent for a moment because we still hadn't brought up my parents.

"Hey Jess, mom and dad are smiling right now. I can feel it." Kyle said finally.

I held back the tears and grabbed Jake's hand. "Yeah, I feel it too." I let a big breathe out.

"Just tell Jake no funny business or else." Kyle said to break the tension.

"Loud and clear sir." Jake said.

We all said our good byes and our good night's. Jake had went to take a shower and I was left alone outside on balcony, just thinking about the future.

I closed my eyes and felt arms hugging my waist. I turn to see Jake.

"What's on your mind?"

I couldn't really tell him what I was thinking because I wasn't really thinking of anything.

"Our wedding date." I said softly.

He laughed and hugged me tighter. "I like that. Just say the date and it will happen. But for now, I'm just happy that I made you officially mine."

I smiled. "I was always yours since the beginning."

Jake POV

I stood there. Waiting for the doors to open. Waiting for Jessica to come out. We have been preparing things for 5 months and finally it was happening.

I felt kinda dizzy. Everybody was staring at me, which didn't make me feel any better. I closed my eyes and thought of Jessica and our good moments together. I smiled. I knew things were going to be perfect.

The music finally started and the the doors opened. My palms were sweating and I felt shaky. One by one the brides maids came out and also the flower girl. My stomach felt like it was twisting and turning. I was nervous.

"What if I mess up? What if I choke on my saliva? I'm probably going to make a fool out of my-". My thoughts were cut off when I saw her. She walked down so gracefully without a flaw. Every worry or doubt I had, suddenly went away and I knew everything was alright with her by my side.

We said our vows and well got married. I was happy to call her my wife and soon to be the mother of our kids. After the ceremony, the party had started. Everybody was laughing and having a good time. We gave our speeches to each other and gave a toast.

Later that evening, things slowed down a bit and everybody was on the dance floor. I took Jessica's hand and led her to the dance floor. We danced slowly in sync with our heart beat.

"I love you" in whispered in her ear. She smiled and said "I know." We countined to dance and were lost in love.

"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You've changed me and made me a better person. Thank you for seeing another side of me that I never knew I had."

She kissed me on the lips and spoke softly, "Thank you for making me know what true love really is again."

The night continued with laughs, jokes, tears, and cheers. And I spent the rest of my night knowing that my bright future was right beside me.
