Chapter Seven

*Still Mark's Pov*

"Exactly, who are you?" I asked.

"Alice but I'm from somewhere else." She said.

"Where?" I asked.

"Can I have a coffee first, I'm a bit tired and I want to stay awake to tell you." She said and I nodded. I made her a coffee while she sleepily looked at me. I gave her it and she smiled at me before speaking.

"There's another world besides this world. It's the dark dimension, dumb and basic name I know. It's pretty much the same world as we are in now but everything is just darker. There are dark sides for everyone that live there, your girlfriend is missing because she got taken to that world." She said. I stood at here shocked and wasn't sure what to say. My girlfriend is in a whole other dimension, with who knows who.

"Who took Crystal?" I asked.

"You, duh. Dark took her there." She said.

"That makes no sense, if there are dark sides for everyone there then why doesn't Dark keep his Crystal?" I asked.

"His Crystal ran away and hasn't been found for around the same time as when your Crystal got into a coma." She said.

"So, nobody has seen either of them for months?" I asked.

"Dark's Crystal, yes. Your Crystal, no." She said.

"Why doesn't she try coming home?" I asked.

"She has memory loss. She just assumes Dark is her boyfriend after he said so." She said.

"That's fucking stupid! I want my girlfriend back, Dark can just be lonely." I said.

"I realize it isn't fair Mark." She said.

"I'll find the Dark Crystal and bring her home." I said.

"She doesn't want that Mark, plus she is a demon. She isn't super easy to find, she could be anywhere." She said.

"I just want my Crystal back." I said.

"Mark, I'll help you. I will help you find demon Crystal." She said.

"When can we start?" I asked.

"Whenever you want." She said.

"Tomorrow morning even?" I asked.

"Yes, that would work." She said.

"So, you are a demon also?" I asked.

"Of course, everyone there is except mortals like your girlfriend." She said.

"Could she become a demon?" I asked.

"She could, there are a few ways she could." She said.

"Would Dark want her to be one?" I asked.

"Of course he would, anyway he could." She said.

"Have you spoken to him recently or ever?" I asked.

"Not recently but yes, I've talked to him." She said.

"What ways could Crystal become a demon?" I asked.

"Hm, well if she were to marry Dark she could agree to becoming a demon by doing that." She said.

"She can't marry him!" I said.

"I know. Now let's sleep cause the sooner we sleep, the sooner we can see save your girlfriend." She said.

"Fine, are you staying the night here?" I asked.

"Us demons don't tend to sleep or even need it but we can get tired. I will sleep tonight." She said.

"Oh okay, goodnight." I said, walking towards my room.

"Can I have a blanket?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, oops. By the way I'm sorry for the questions." I said. I grabbed her a blanket and gave it to her.

"Don't worry, I'd be the same Mark." She said before we went to bed.
