Harry's POV

Silence. All there is in this room.
Only 15 people standing. All in a perfectly straight line. We wait for the boss, or Ed as we call him, to pick 5 of us to be the next 'World's Most Wanted'. I need this. My family needs me to be picked, I need this job. Everybody had a number taped on them.
I was num--

"Okay everybody. Lets get started and just show me what you got." Ed spoke loud and clear.

Everyone picked a station to work at. I am very good at fighting because I used to box like 2 years ago. I put on a headband to keep my hair from getting in my face and pulled off my shirt.
I picked up the weights and did about 25 curl ups when I noticed Ed looking at me from the corner of my eye. I put the weights down and went to the punching bag. I focused and hit the bag with every single energy in me, just thinking of not getting the job makes me angry and makes me feel as if I'm not good enough.

"Dammit." I whisper to myself.

"Hey, be careful. Don't wanna get hurt now do we?" I look up to see Ed smiling.

"Oh, hey, what's up Ed?" I said, nervously.

"Nothing. Just making our selection for the group. I really hope this time it is successful." He says looking doubtful.

The group that started first was The Wanted,  and I mean yeah they got a good amount of money and never got caught but everyone actually hated them. They were called the Worst Criminals of the Century. They vanished into thin air after Ed fired them.

"Well mate, good luck!" Ed said and left toward the 'dark room'.

The 'dark room' was only a place for people who have a job here. I go over to the running machine and run for a good 30 minutes before heading to the loo. I walked over to the blue door and see someone in there. I walk over to the toilet and pull my zipper down. I feel as I'm being looked at so I look from the corner of my eye to see the guy standing next to me watching me closely.

"Uhhmm. May I help you?' I asked the man.

"You're new this year, huh?" He asks.

"Yeah. Why?" I respond, zipping up my fly.

"I've been here for 5 months and I've never seen you. Sorry if you think I'm a creep. I'm not a creep, I promise, I'm Louis." He responds with a bright and wide smile.

We both walk over to the sink.

"I'm Harry. Nice to meet you." I say after drying my hands to give him a handshake.

We both walk out back to the main room.

"Alright, well, see you later?" He says.

"Yeah. Hey, can I get your number? It's hard getting friends here. You're the first person I've really actually talked to." I say

"Yeah, sure, why not? It's (773) 123 - 4567" He says while I type it in on my phone.

"Alright, good luck and I'll catch you later." I say and stretch out my hand for a handshake. He bro handshake-hugs me and goes his way to the exit toward the track. Seems like he would be a great runner. I'm sure he will get chosen.

It's been 15 minutes since I've seen Louis when we are all called.

"Okay everyone! Back to the line please!" Perrie, the locator & tracker, says to everyone.

I see Louis come in and he gives me a small smile. Ed was looking for 5 new people to be on the team and I hope I get chosen.

Off to a great or bad start??
