It was worth it. Three hours worth of flying, that is. When I land I'll be on the best place on earth, with the best of friends. Tierra Hermosa is the little islands name, in Spanish it means 'beautiful land' and it's true. The grass is a lush, dark green and the trees full and vibrant. The air is clean, there's no dirty machines or cars, we don't need them anyways, every where you'd want to go is walking distance. We do have planes and boats though, to import supplies and needs. There are dozens of little shops and restaurants, and an amazing white sand beach marks the perimeter of our little island.
My family and friends, who have special passes, are the only people allowed here, besides the people who work part time and live here to keep the island in good condition. We all know each other one way or another, and we are all friendly, which keeps everyone happy and the island safe. Most of the people who work here are actually a family who helped discover Tierra Hermosa and they decided to stay year-round. Not that it's too bad, its always warm and sunny here and occasionally rains, only for about fifteen minutes at a time though.
