"Difficult times show true colors, hard times reveal true friends, hardships and obstacles tighten family ties."
I am here.
I care for you.
I will always be here for you.
I will always be real and true to you.
I love you.
I'll fight for you.
We will stay until the end of time.
I will always be your one true friend.
Those were some of the few lines we always hear from people who we consider to be dear to us- friends, special loved one and family.
Those words give us peace, joy, consolation, hope and are comforting and assuring.
Those are like magic words that could eradicate all the worries, fears, anxieties, concerns, doubts and apprehensions we have.
They're like glitters spilling from golden mouths of people we believe in and value so much thus making those words even more beautiful and believable.
They might take you for a fool and use their canny dirty tounges to manipulate, dominate and get into your mind and heart.
We all have friends. Some keep a small circle of friends while other people mantains a big number of them.
But how many of them are real?
How many of your 'friends' can you really rely on during difficult and trying times?
How many of your 'friends' can motivate and accept the real you?
How many of them can pick you up and help you during rough times? We don't need a lot of them. We just need one or if lucky enough maybe more than that. Finding one true friend is like finding a pearl, a very precious one. They're hard to find so never trade it for a rock.
How many of us had believed in sweet nothings?
How many of us were once or twice or a couple of times been deceived?
How many felt like they were tricked and played?
Be it serious or not, it was still a deception, a lie.And the addest part is that they don't come from our enemies and people we don't know, they come from our friends, treasured ones and worst from our families.
But looking on the bright side of these betrayal and abandonement is the revelation of what and who's real, pure and true, enlightenment of our minds, and discovery of rocks.
The truth can either break you or make you. And only a strong person with a strong heart and mind can make it.
In a world full of counterfeits, be the smart one because mutual deceptions lead nowhere.
We can't forever discard them away from our lives but we can always put them where they're supposed to be- at arm's lenght.
