Chapter 1 - Meeting him

On their way to Baekhyun's new school, the boy was just in silence and staring at the window while his brother Daehyung is driving.

How am I supposed to have a friends there? Baekhyun thought. He is not the kind of a person who is easily to approach. In his past school, only the girls are doing their first move towards Baekhyun.

"Hey chill! I know many students there are friendly" his brother said.

"How'd you know?"

"Nah, I just... I guess so?"

Baekhyun just rolled his eyes and continued staring outside. After a few more minutes, they arrived at Baekhyun's new school. Baekhyun lazily come out of the car and closed the car door angrily.

"Hey! Make some friends, kay? I'll catch you up later. Bye hyunnie!" Baekhyun just ignore his brother and looked up to see the whole school he was studying now. It's obvious that he was surprised a bit because of the huge gate he was standing at.

Before he enter the gate, he saw some students with their friends having fun seeing again each other. How I wish I have those kinds of friends here... He said in his thoughts. He then starts to enter the school, and while he is searching for the office in the hallway he heard some girls whispering about him about being cute but he ignored it.

Finally after more than 5 minutes of walking in the hallway he saw the office, he entered.

"Good Morning Ma'am" he greeted.

"Good morning, may I have your name?"

"Byun Baekhyun ma'am" he said casually.

"So you're here to get your schedules?" the administrator said.

Baekhyun just nodded and the admin said he can sit while waiting. Then suddenly, someone kicked the door to open and they both startled.

"Mr. Park! What are you doing? Can't you open the door properly?" the admin shouted.

"I'm just too lazy to use my hands, can I have my schedules?" the tall guy said with his deep voice.

The admin let the tall guy to sit and wait for his schedules while Baekhyun was just staring at him, confused on how did this tall guy can do it in front of the administrator without being polite.

The tall guy stare back at him and asked...

"What's your problem? Wanna have some black eye?" the tall guy threatened.

Baekhyun just look at the other direction, avoiding the rude boy sitting in front of him. Then after a few minutes, the admin hand them their schedules and they both said thanks to her. Baekhyun opens the door but the tall guy got out first before him. Baekhyun glared at him.

"You're so slow going out of the room, oh come on!" the tall guy said to him.

You're lazier than me, you ugly!

Baekhyun started to walk to his first class. When he entered the room the teacher saw him and ask him to go in front.

"Please introduce yourself" The teacher said to him.

"Uhm... Good Morning everyone! My name is--" he was interrupted when someone opened the door aggressively.

"Mr. Park, please use the door with manners" The teacher said to the tall guy he encountered a while ago.

The tall guy just shrugged and choose his seat and he stare to the boy in front of them which is Baekhyun.

"Please continue..."

"Uh My name is Baekhyun, Byun Baekhyun. I'm new here so please be nice to me" he bowed after.

The teacher said he can sit anywhere he wants. But the only vacant seat left was beside the rude, tall guy. So he have no choice to sit beside him. And there was an awkward silence between them and the whole class was staring at them.

Baekhyun heard some boys whispering about the tall guy beside him, that he is scary and they are happy because they are not sitting with him. He just sighed.

"Hey!" Baekhyun turned his head towards his seatmate calling him almost a minute.

"I'm sor-"

"May I borrow a pen, I forgot mine" he said while looking at the whiteboard, Baekhyun just mouthed an 'okay' and brought out his pencil case. Then he handed the pen to his seatmate... waiting for his thank you. But, he didn't heard anything. He just facepalmed himself in his thoughts.

After an hour, their first class finished. Waiting for their next teacher, Baekhyun noticed that the tall boy was sleeping.

I thought he was really listening to the discussion, but no.

After putting all of the books he used in his first class, a girl suddenly approached him. Standing there in front of him and doing cute movements.

"Uh, hello?! Uhm... Can I- ask your n-name?"

Baekhyun's eyebrows met, thinking 'why this girl didn't heard me a while ago? And asking my name'.

"I introduced myself already?"

"I... uhm, sorry. It's just that my focus is on him" pointing to his seatmate. He just mouthed an 'O'.

"I'm Byun Baekhyun"

"I'm Kim Taeyeon... Nice meeting you" the girl said winking at him which caused him to disgust.

After that Taeyeon walks towards her friends and squeal, girls be like. Baekhyun startled when he was punch a bit by his seatmate because he was stretching. Baekhyun throw his arms and stares at him.

"Hey what's that noise?" he said referring to the girls.

Baekhyun stopped for a while because he felt something in his chest, hearing his seatmate deep voice. His voice is sexy.

Baekhyun came back to his reality when his seatmate is already shouting at him.

"Hey! I'm asking you!"

"Uh, the girls" Baekhyun pointed to the group of girls there, fangirling over them.

There is an awkward silence again, and Baekhyun can't stand it anymore so he asked his name because it is almost 2 and half an hour, but he still didn't know his name.

"Can I ask you something?"

"You're already asking!" the tall guy shouted.

Baekhyun sighed before continuing. "What's your name?"

The tall guy stared at him lifting his left eyebrow up.

"Seriously? This handsome face? You don't even know my name?"

"I'm new here in this city and school, so of course I don't even know the people here!" Baekhyun protests.

"Well, okay fine. Just shut up. I'm Park Chanyeol"...
