Chapter 10 - Dinner

Daehyun arrived to their house at 7, he was nervous and he grips stronger to the wheel while inside the car. He was staring at his hands for 5 minutes before he decides to get out, he let out a big sigh.

"Daehyun, you can do this. I know mom would be mad at you first but I know she'll understand. But dad and Baek..." he messes his hair and growled in frustration. He keeps hitting his forehead using his palm and he didn't notice someone opened the gate.

"Daehyun..."

Daehyun turned his head to the direction towards their gate, mom.

"Go inside, the food is waiting" she went inside while Daehyun was just staring at her, a very worried look appears on Daehyun's face.

When he enters the house, Baekhyun and his dad were already sitting in the dining table obviously waiting for him while his mom preparing their drinks. He notice that his dad is in the good mood so he was relieved, and even Baekhyun. He walks to his usual seat which is beside the younger. Daehyun elbowed Baekhyun lightly causing the younger to stop from grinning.

"My goodness Baek, I thought all the people here were mad at me. But for my curry's sake, everyone was weird?! And why are you even grinning like a retarded whale?" Daehyun didn't breathe while saying it continuously.

"Grinning like a retarded whale? Does it exist?" Baekhyun tilted his head in confusion, causing his hyung to facepalm quietly. Suddenly, their mom hardly placed the pitcher to the glass table causing them to startle.

"Mom!"

"What was that?!"

The three boys said in unison. Ms. Byun cleared his throat;

"Let's eat..." she said calmly.

Before all of them get their first bite;

"Daehyun, what are you thinking" his mom said. Baekhyun accidentally fell his spoon.

"She, forced me. I didn't want to go at first but..."

"You were under controlled" Baek added.

"Baekhyun! Eat your cereals!" he just pouted and continued eating.

"You what? And what do you mean she?" Baekhyun and Daehyun looked at each other with wide eyes.

"My dear, your son is in the right age. So it means that he has girlfriend" his dad finally spoke up. The two turn their heads to their dad, with a no-dad-no-look.

"Girl-friend? ARE YOU KIDDING ME DAEHYUN!?" The two startled and Baekhyun starts to pray silently while Daehyun closed his eyes, he didn't expect that he will spit it out all of a sudden.

"Mom, no- let me explain, please calm dow-"

"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN! I TOLD YOU THAT THERE'S NO HAVING A GIRLFRIEND FIRST!"

"Mom! I know, I know. Baekhyun reminds me that, please listen. I know I'm wrong, but I love her, yes maybe I was hypnotized or something but I really love her. I didn't tell to you at first because I was scared"

"But you didn't imagine what will happen if you didn't tell us earlier and knowing that YOU WERE LIVING IN A CONDOMINIUM WITH HER? My goodness Daehyun, I didn't teach you to be like that!"

"Dear, we're eating. Stop it"

"I actually don't plan on eating anymore after I heard a 'she'. Daehyun, you better bring her here tomorrow, do you understand?"

"Yes, mom. I'm sorr-"

"Don't wanna hear your apology, continue eating. I'll just go upstairs" Ms. Byun went to her room and locked the door, their father already knows that she may be mad outside but deep inside his wife wants to cry. Daehyun releases a big sigh again even though he already expected it to happen.

"I'll be sleeping here tonight, dad?" Daehyun asked his dad.

"Sure, and you better talk to your mother properly tomorrow. I want to see her too" Daehyun nodded in response. His dad finished eating and went upstairs to comfort their mom, leaving Daehyun and Baek together.

"That was close..." Baekhyun spoke up.

"I knew it, but you didn't expect it, seriously?" they were both leaning to the chair, staring at the ceiling and being thankful it didn't last long.

"What's her name?" Baek asks.

"Somi... she was actually famous because she was an ulzzang" Daehyun said proudly but Baek shrieked a bit.

"Famous? Didn't heard that name before"

"Same..."

"Kidding me?"

"Nah"

"I don't know why are we even talking like these? It's nonsense..."

"You just missed me, didn't you?"

"Of course, who wouldn't?"

The two just played together but then notices the plates were still in the table, so they clean and washed the dishes.

"Wanna play xBox?" Daehyun asks.

"Fight me...

[A/N]: HEEYY PIPL!!! I planned on having an update today, well, tbh I was having an exam week but I dunno how I've got courage to update instead of studying. Beg with me... But I JUST WANTED TO SAY 'THANK YOU' for the 14k reads. :'(((((((((( I don't know but maybe?
