"WHAT THE NETHER IS GOING ON IN HERE!" Jerome woke up suddenly to find that everyone else was awake and 2 people that looked like twins were at the door. The girl had a shocked and angry expression while the guy was leaning against the wall, rubbing his forehead. Sky put up his hands. "Woah, no need to freak out! Me and my friends needed a place to stay last night!" The guy covered the girl's mouth. "I'm sorry about Mitzi, she's a pain sometimes. My name is Josh, nice to meet you." Jerome smiled as he looked at the two. Josh was wearing a plaid buttoned down T-shirt and a pair of kaki cargo pants while Mitzi was wearing a simple T-shirt and shorts. "Are you two siblings?", Mitch asked. "Yeah, twins in fact!" Mitzi started to grin. "Sorry about just now, I'm just not used to seeing a group of males in the cave I found before hunting with my brother!" Kermit grinned. "I'm Kermit, that's Sky, there's TrueMU on the ground, Deadlox is the one that's cooking all that yummy calamari, Husky is the mudkip that's hiding under his covers and over there is Jerome the fluffy and of course Mitch, the youngest of us all." Josh's face brightened up. "Mitch? As in Mitchell Hughes?!" Mitch looked up. "Holy notch, why do we keep running into strangers that know my full name?!" Mitzi looked confused. "Strangers? Mitch, what's wrong with you? It's me, Mitzi Hughes, and Josh Hughes! Little brother, we haven't seen you since Dawn Town was destroyed! We thought you were dead!" Mitch looked surprised. "Sis? Bro? Wh-what is this?! I..I saw you guys! You guys died in the fire! I'm sure of it!" Josh shook his head. "No, we got out. However, you should stay away from that beast. He....he's dangerous." Mitzi looked at Josh. 'Right, we can't tell Mitch the truth about how our town was destroyed...not yet.' Mitch hugged Jerome. "Why?! He's not dangerous! He's very nice, he won't harm anyone!" Deadlox then spawned a table and placed it, placing a plate with calamari on it down, a plate with rice on it down, a plate with scrambled eggs on it down and plates for everyone. He also spawned chairs for everyone, including Mitzi and Josh. "Dig in people, we can't search for the destroyer of Dawn Town on an empty stomach!" Mitzi shrugged and ate some of the eggs. "My notch, this tastes amazing!" Josh ate almost half of the calamari. "Dear notch I love you now deadlox!" Deadlox blushed and ate his rice in silence. Everyone was talking and chatting, but Jerome hadn't touched his plate, the food or said a thing. TrueMU looked at Jerome. "You okay buddy?" Jerome sighed. "Yeah, it's just...why did Mitzi and Josh say I was dangerous?" TrueMU shrugged. "Well, you're a fluffy animal. Baccas are supposed to be extinct." Jerome sighed again. "Well, there's one thing me and Mitch have in common. My family is dead, and my hometown is destroyed. I'm not upset though, and I'm not hunting the destroyers down." Husky whispered something into Deadlox's ear. Deadlox spawned a jukebox and a disc. He tossed the disc into the jukebox and the song Skelly Heart started playing. Everyone started to dance, but Jerome and Mitch bumped into each other. "Mitch...", Jerome looked into Mitch's eyes. Mitch looked up at Jerome and played with the fluffy's fur. "You're so fluffy....", Mitch whispered. Jerome smiled and picked up Mitch, hugging him. Mitch laughed and hugged Jerome back. 'Am I really responsible for the murder of this kid's family? Ah, no matter. The man in the moon might tell me. All that's important is today, I haven't been this happy in so long.' In the end, Mitzi and Josh fell asleep next to each other, Deadlox fell asleep in Sky's lap, TrueMU was laying with a faceplant, Kermit was sleeping leaning against the wall and Husky had an explosive in one hand. Mitch fell asleep with his arms wrapped around Jerome's neck, his face leaning against fur. Jerome's arms were wrapped around Mitch. Jerome sighed and drifted off.
