(Omar's Pov)
It was my first day of my 11th grade year. I felt pretty much the same as last year, the only thing that was different was that I was single. That first morning back, I got to school and went to my first class. (precal.)

Then go towards the library and go up the stairs to my next class then to the next, and next and so on until nutrition and lunch.

During those breaks I would hang out with Manny, Dadira, Michelle, Nala, and Tate my closest friends. The same as any other day last year. Nothing crazy or different was going on that day. (I mean it's school.. that's to be expected)

Well like any boring day after school, I would walk back home, it was about two miles away from school. I wasn't tired but I did just want to go home and enjoy what little time of the day i had left.

But before I had the pleasure of walking outside of the school and be able to be a happy lazy teenager at home and watch tv. I had to go to the library in order to print out some articles for my english class tomorrow. I wasn't going to read them I just needed them in order to make sure the teacher wouldn't bother me tomorrow.

Well I had to walk up the stairway heading to the library. As I was heading up the stairs there were also a ton of kids heading down the stairs to happily go home. Then someone bumped into me knocking off my glasses.

I picked up my glasses all the while the girl who bumped into me repeated sorry like 17 times. I laughed a lil and just said "its ok don't worry about it."

I knew her she was the sister of a friend of mine. Her name was Sierra. I could tell she was embarrassed so I just wanted to talk to her maybe it would calm her down.

I asked "Why were you in such a rush?" she replied. "My dad is waiting for me outside and I had to get going." I could tell she felt bad enough so I offered to walk her to the front of the school where her dad was waiting for her. She said it was fine.

As we began to walk down the stairs and outside the school we talked about the school and our friends. (I tried to make a few lame jokes and they worked!) She actually laughed and smiled most of the time we were talking. (Her smile was a really good smile, not going to lie)

I didn't I think much of her besides that. She asked for my number and that if I ever wanted to hang out or just talk then to text her. So i gave her my number. As soon as we got to the front she gave me a quick hug good bye and practically ran to her car.

After all the I had forgotten I needed my article so I left back to school and into the library to get my papers. After I got my papers and I began to walk home.

A little while later, I received a text from someone. I read the text and it was Sierra and I smiled. (I couldn't believed she texted me so fast) I texted her whats up and we continued to text each other the entire day until we were going to sleep.

By the end of the day we had come to an agreement so go and eat at a pizzeria the next day. After we had said our goodbyes I began to think about her and how she kept making me smile.

She was so funny and extremely sweet, we had a lot in common and anything that we didn't have in common we had talk to each about our personal views on the topic. I found that good that even if we didn't have something in common if was still always be such a good conversation.

I also couldn't stop thinking about how she was really pretty. Her long dark hair, how short she was, and her beautiful eyes.

As I was going down this list I thought to myself ... why I was I attracted to... how can I be thinking about her so much its barley been one day. Do I like her already?
