The Medical Officer
Has made some new rules
Telling us
How to handle our booze

The solution is clear
We should all aim
To have a dry year
But do not muddle
Dry with a drought
We still need
To enjoy life and getout
If the majority of days
In a month are dry
We can partake on theothers
With a virtuous sigh
Repeat this for a total
Of seven or more
The Medical Officer
Should let our avictorious roar
Seven from twelve
An achievable aim
That will installhabits
From which we will gain
