Chapter Six

Kitana P.O.V
After my fight with Liu Kang, Raiden called on Johnny and Sonya.
They entered the center and began to fight.
Sonya started off with an energy ring, which hit Johnny on his chest and he threw a forceball to hit her back, but she blocked it!
Johnny ran up closer to Sonya and she threw some pink mist in his face, leaving him unable to see. Sonya quickly tackled Johnny then punched him a few times.
Johnny stood up and kicked Sonya into the air and punched her repeatedly.
Once the fight ended, it was Johnny who won.
"You were so good!" Jade says to Sonya as she walks back from the center.
"Clearly not good enough to beat him!" She says looking down.
"Yeah, but the beginning of the fight was great!" I say optimistically.
"Guess I got a bit distracted..." Sonya says sadly.
"By what I wonder?" Jade says. Causing us all to laugh.

Once the training was over Raiden teleported us back to the academy. It was quite late when we returned, so we all went straight to our dorms. I couldn't sleep though, I kept thinking about Liu Kang, did I like like him or did I not?
After a long night of no sleep, it was time to wake up and head down to breakfast. I decided to leave my mask off today, to change up my costume a bit.
Me, Sonya and Jade walked down the long staircase and headed into the dining hall. As we walked in I saw Liu Kang wave at me to sit next to him. I couldnt help but feel nervous! He probably just sees me as a friend...
He sat with Johnny and Kung Lao so I asked Jade and Sonya to sit with me, they agreed and we sat on their table.
"Hey Kitana! Sonya, Jade." Liu Kang says.
"Hi!" I reply back.
"What are you having for breakfast then?" He asks
"I don't know, what are you having?" I ask looking at him
"I think I'll go for toast!" He says looking at the counter with all the food laid out on it.
"Me too!" I say standing up but I was stopped by Liu Kang
"Allow me! How many slices?" He asks politely,
"Two please!" I laugh. He nods and walks away. I turn to speak with Jade but shes talking with Kung Lao and Sonya's having a conversation with Johnny. Not wanting to interupt I sit and wait for Liu Kang to return.
He finally comes back with two plates of toast and a couple of things to spread on top.
"I didn't know what you liked on toast toast so I brought a selection!" He laughs and begins to spread butter on his toast.
"Its okay!" I say and spread jam on my slices.
After breakfast it was time to go to first lesson,
"What do you's have?" Kung Lao asks,
"Weapon training with Erron Black." I say.
"I have him!" Liu Kang says excitedly
"Me too!" Jade says
"So do I!" Kung Lao adds
"Great we can walk together!" I say looking at them
"Me and Sonya have Dark Magic with Quan Chi." Johnny says looking at her in a loving way, I can tell he likes her.
"Thats opposite Errons Classroom, we can all walk!" Liu kang says.
"What are we waiting for then, lets not be late!" Jade stands up.
As we walk down the corridor we all seem to split off into couples, Me and Liu Kang, Jade and Kung Lao and Johnny and Sonya.
"I love how you didn't wear your mask today, I can see your smile!" Liu Kang says unexpectedly, causing me to smile even more.
"Really?" I say in disbelief.
I think I like Liu Kang even more now...
