"Can you believe this stuff?!"

A teenage boy with tricolor hair fumed, furiously storming out of the school auditorium and out to where some of his friends were already getting their things together to move in to their dorms.

His Crimson eyes glared, his hands were clenched into fists, his steps were taken like stabs to the ground. Anyone who stood in his way quickly got out of it because gossip had quickly made the news a big deal around the school.

The rumors varied greatly, but the majority of the students on campus had gotten the news right.

Yami was paired with someone like Yugi of all people!

Yugi!

Two young individuals stood beside their luggage, counting everything up and checking another time to see if they had forgotten anything they would have needed to use once they moved in.

A young girl looked up from a clipboard holding their list of all the things they were looking for and she slowly checked each one of them off as her friend, a male individual, knelt beside the bags, calling various item's names out as she checked them off.

"Sleeping bags!" He looked up at the girl, "Oh. Hey, Yami!"

Yami glared and crossed his arms, his packet folded neatly and angrily underneath his arm. He glared still, sending a chill up the girl's spine. She had heard the rumors.

She personally didn't want to believe it. And she didn't want to find out how the school year was going to go for Yami and... "He who shall not be named".

"Mana. Mahad." Yami didn't even nod, his lips pursed furiously.

"S-So..." The young girl, Mana, checked off Sleeping bags from the list, "...I Uhm... I heard about the whole... Yugi and You... Thing that just happened."

"Yeah. That BS?" Yami's glare intensified as he whipped his gaze to meet hers, his fiery and angry, "Can you freaking believe those people??? Sticking me with Yugi??? That nerd??? What the hell??? Why him???"

"Well... They said they were doing who they thought would have gone together nicely!" Mahad, the boy going through the bags, peeled his head up, "Mana! We got the snacks!"

Mana nodded and turned back to her clipboard, marking off the word Snacks on the front.

"Alright, I got it! Snacks is off the list!" Mana smiled slightly at Mahad.

"A-Are you two kidding me?!" Yami stomped his foot, his fury now nearly palpable and radiating, "Are the both of you ignoring me?!"

"Hey! You're asking the wrong people for questions, Yami!" Mahad shook his head and shrugged slightly, "Towels, Mana."

Mana nodded once more and marked off towels. Yami went to open to mouth to say something, but was interrupted by Mahad.

"The administration and the council set all this up. It's up to them to change the arrangement, not us." Mahad said, "So if you want this to be over, I suggest you suck it up or go talk to the administration and faculty about this."

Yami rolled his eyes.

"You know for sure I will never step inside that office for other reasons than for a detention. That's just how it goes." He shook his head, glaring slightly at the both of them, "It's never gonna change. I hope you two know that."

"Yami, why don't you just give the guy a try?" Mana piped up after marking down another name of supplies off of the list, "I mean, he might not even be that bad!"
