Grenades now can be thrown with a weapon still in hand, unlike having to change your gun to a grenade just to use it.

Radioactive storms accure and each time they strike the ground, the radiation affects you.
Also acids rain occurs and damages you. Really wish you had that metal armour now...

You can equip a jet pack whilst you wear your power armour, letting you fly to great heights. That also leaves the question, what else can you equip?

Speaking of flying, you can call in your own personal vertibird, allowing you to travel fast across the wasteland. Possible replacing the fast travel mechanic.

Holidays and special events are in the game to humanise the character a bit more. For example Christmas, Halloween, Easter and many more.
A common place to find this is in diamond city and just casually exploring the wasteland.

It took over 5 years for Bethesda to make fallout 4. They started making it in 2010, the month is unknown.

You have to spend approximately over 400 hrs of play time if you want to see everything the game has in store for you.

Fallout makes many references to real world. As seen in the cinematic trailer fallout 4 the ending shows a man walking away with a dog wearing a leather suit. Very much like Mel Gibson's character Mad Max.
In the game you can get a gun called Fat Man. Seem familiar? Well in the Japan they do not include that in the game because of the atomic bomb being dropped in Nagasaki. And the bomb was nicknamed Fat Man, and other names also.

If you don't go to the vault at the start of the game and roam around instead, you will eventually get blown up.
There is no accessible cars or houses.

People think that Vault boy is sticking the thumbs up, that is a fact indeed wrong. If you notice he is winking as well, in war times it was a technique to extend your hand out and stick your thumb up. Look at the mushroom cloud and if the cloud is bigger than your thumb, than your in a nuclear radius. If not, your safe. Well not really, if you see a mushroom cloud anytime you should get away ASAP.
