~ Stephanie's POV~
When we got to the police station there was about 5 people there so we had to wait.
"Is there a Stephanie Miller and a Elizabeth Nguyen here?" Asked a man that looked like he was in his mid twenties.
Elizabeth stood up and like literally dragged me in to the office.
~ Elizabeth's POV ~
As we sat in the waiting room a lot of people came in and out of the offices. I was very impatient. I just want to help Stephanie, but she won't let me. Well today all the abuse will all be over.
~ Stephanie's POV ~
Officer Peter took us to his office. "So what are you young lady's doing here today." He said in a happy mood. Well he won't be happy when he hears that my step father has been beating me.
"Well...um we would like to report someone for child abuse." Elizabeth says for me.
"Ok. So what's his or her name and do you have any evidence." Officer Peter said in a serious toon.
"His name is.... is Damien Smith. And yes we...we do have evidence." I said a little nervous.
"Can you show me the evidence sweetheart?" He asked.
I lifted my shirt, so you could only see my stomach. My stomach and back were covered in bruises.
"Ok. We will get him but I'll need some personal information." He said.
< skipping the talking>
As We walked out of the police station Elizabeth asked "Do you want to go get something to eat?"
I said yes and we went to subway.
< at Stephanie's house>
As I walked into the front door it was so quiet. It was never this quiet. Something had to happen because my step dad is always in here making loud sounds. ( I just realized how wrong that sounds) I checked in every room and my step dad was nowhere to be found. I guess they arrested him.
I sat on the couch until my mom got home maybe she knew about it.
I heard the door open and my mom walked in all worried. "Honey are you ok! I heard what Damien did to you. I'm so sorry I didn't know. Why didn't you tell me? We could have had him arrested sooner!" My mom fired questions at me.
"I'm ok mom. I didn't tell you because he threatened me not to tell anyone. And me and Elizabeth went to the police station this morning."I said.
I was glad he was arrested. No more abuse. No more of that asshole being in my life.
"I have something to tell you." My mom said with excitement in her voice.
"What is it?" I asked. I was a little bit curious of what it might be.
"We are going.......

Cliffhanger. So tell me what you think of the story so far. Im going to change Stephanie's age to 16 instead of 15. So yeah ill post the next chapter when I get 2 votes and 3 comments. Today's Alex Constancio's birthday so happy birthday to Alex.
