Shifting Silver (COMPLETED)

A Few Weeks Later...

A few weeks later I had been in favoring my human form more often than my wolf form... My wolf didn't like the fact that I was doing so, but she will eventually get used it. Luke finally asked me out last night. I wasn't sure if I was ready for our relationship so I said no. His eyes turned a deep shade of blue and he took off. He hasn't been home for hours and it's almost 7am.. I'm afraid he won't understand why I had said no too him.. I am afraid he won't understand that.. What if he went back to Miranda. Oh god what if he did go back to her?! my mind started twisting and I gained a severe migraine from it.
It had already been so hard on Luke since his father had divorced his mother for another woman. I could of pushed his limits.. I'm so afraid that he won't love me like he has been for weeks. I walked down stairs to Luke's mom and I heard some music playing from the kitchen. I decided to go in there, and instead I saw her baking some cookies and muffins, I laughed as she danced and sang to the lyrics. I danced to her and started laughing as I had started helping and singing along!!
"That's how it works, that's how you lost the girl..."
She danced around and I set down then stuff and grabbed her hands and started laughing and dancing, she actually had a smile since how long has it been, what about 6 months?
"I want you for words or better!! I would wait for ever and ever!! broke your heart put it back together!!!"
We danced and laughed it was maybe 10 when we heard the door creak open and saw Luke standing there.. His clothes were still torn from his shift, I nodded at his mom as she already knew. I walked over to him and grabbed his hand as I lead him up the stairs to his bedroom, and grabbed him some clean clothes and pushed him to the shower and giggled as I closed the door behind us. "Well, get in!" He raised his eyebrows with a slight chuckle, and spoke in a raspy voice but sexy voice. "Well if you insist, why not come join me?" I blushed and giggled, then looked down at my feet.

He boomed out a laugh and grabbed me and hugged me. His scent smelled different, it didn't smell like the marshmallows and honey. It smelled like Victoria's Secret perfume, I forced a smile and walked out and closed the door behind me. Was he seeing Miranda again, my migraine came back and I walked downstairs and soon as I got to the kitchen, I fell to the ground and covered my face with my hands. Sobs escaped my chest and tears streamed down my face. Me and Luke weren't a couple/Mates yet but we were destined to be.. And he was seeing someone. Or so I was thinking.

Was I not good enough for him. Light and quick footsteps headed towards me and before long I had felt myself shifting and his moms warms hugs around me. My wolf didn't know the scent of the girl but she knew damn well she wasn't having me break down and cry. She didn't like the fact her mate had marked another and yet she Hadn't even known if she had marked him. I heard low lioness growls and purring near me. I hadn't realized that his mother had shifted with me.

The sobs died down after I heard the clicking of the shower turn off, his mother let go and nodded. I nodded back and she shifted to human form as I stayed in my wolf form. She leaned down and handed me a few cookies in a zip lock baggy, I heard his footsteps coming down the stairs, she nodded once more and I nodded back. I turned towards the door and she let me out right as Luke saw me bolt.

I could sense his emotions a little bit, but I could, after all he is my true mate. He shook his head and punched the wall as I bolted away, the fear and hurt inside me well that my wolf was carrying wasn't something I was needing at this moment. I had stopped about a few blocks down and ate the cookies, I threw the bag away and headed to the park to relax. Instead I heard a loud clang and shifted to my human form, looking up I saw a boy that I had seen a few days ago, passing by the house. People called him Garret and I just couldn't help myself I needed revenge on Luke for marking another female.

My wolf howled in pain and sorrow and I walked over to him, he saw me and his mouth opened a bit. "Hey, there!" I said very innocently and seductively. He looked at me and smiled with his green blooming eyes and blackened hair that cut off below his ears. He had his lips pierced and he was playing with one side of it. "Hey what's up? Names Garret, what's yours?" I giggled and he walked a bit closer and pulled me in by my hips. My wolf was pleased by this warm feeling and I couldn't help myself. I kissed him, and he kissed back. He started pulling me inside until my wolfs instincts kicked in and she came to the front and pulled away. I could hear Luke, oh his voice made my wolf howl for him. He located me and bolted to were I was. Once he got to the door Garret threw me behind him and...............
