Shafiq sat in the recliner chair in the corner of the room, watching Aaliyah as she slept on his California king size bed.
She looked so peaceful as she lay there in a red silk Victoria Secret teddy. Shafiq admired her beauty and even though she was 5 months pregnant she possessed a crazy body, ass and titties still firm and now even with her baby bump added she still was the baddest thing walking.
She was a true keeper she had put up with Shafiqs's shit. All because she accepted him for who he was.
When the two of them first met, Shafiq didn't expect their relationship to go this far being that they where brought up and raised totally different.
He grew to be attracted to her mind, from the way she viewed a person based on his heart and not their actions on Aaliyah's part that was a gift and a curse wrapped up in one.
Just from that alone Shafiq knew that, thar one particular trait was a defect that she had it was the one thing that he just couldn't shake. And because of that he made a promise to always keep her safe.
His rule was protect what is good to him with everything in him even if it caused him his life at the end.Born Shafiq Markell Brown, in West Philadelphia, he was the second oldest of four siblings including himself. His father died was murderd on the same day his mother was in the hospital giving birth to him.
His mother Shirley Brown did the best she could raising her children by herself on the little bit of assistance she received from welfare. But she didn't let that stop here for keeping her children in order.
From Wednesday to Sunday night Shirley Brown, who was known as momma in the hood held underground blackjack games and sold chicken and fish platters along with dollar shots of cheap liquor to the local drunks out of the kitchen of her West Philadelphia home.Growing up in that type of environment forced him to step up to the plate and pursue his role as the man of the family, having two sisters and brother that was younger than him,and being without a father figure around Shafiq, was forced to grow up fast and adapt to his environment.
Shafiq had a much older cousin that went by the name of Bam, who was involved in the crime underworld in the city of Philadelphia at that time. He always wanted to be with his older cousin Bam. One snowy winter night, Bam asked him to take a ride with him to pick up some money, about fifteen minutes into the ride his cousin passed him a .38 revolver and told him that what ever went down on this pick up stayed between them. Shafiq nodded his head in agreement as he placed the revolver on his lap not admiring the weapon. That gun automatically gave him and extra sense of power that he so often craved for.
"Listen lil cuz! I'm need for you to watch my back if anything goes side ways when we get out the car, don't hesitate to aim that pistol and pull that trigger. I got everything else covered." Bam told him as they where pulling over the car on a dark North Philly block that look as if it was desecrated and abandoned, with the exception of one house that looked as if it was occupied.
The two walked up the steps. Bam knocked on the door two times before it was an answered. As soon as the door was opened, Bam pulled out a 44 magnum and struck the tall brown skin guy who had just opened the door across his face so hard you could hear a few bones crack, before he fell to the ground knocked out cold. All Shafiq could do was follow his cousin's lead and pull out his 38 as they entered the house,Bam made his way up the stairs kicking in every bedroom door making sure no one else was in the house once the house was secured, Bam went over to the unconscious body that layed on the floor and grab the man by his throat before bringing an open hand slap across his face awakening him out of his unconscious state.
When the man came to his eyes focused on the barrel of the gun that was pointed in his face.
"Now I'm ask you this one time where is the money." Bam demanded as he cock the hammer back on his gun.
