Chapter 2: Well Enough Alone

I take a deep breath, how is this happening, I drift into deeper thoughts, was this my fault? Am I dreaming? I pinch myself, nope not dreaming. That's when I remember I'm sitting in a Starbucks with Joey Graceffa. "Um.. Are you ok Mia?" He says. "Oh uh yeah I'm fine just thinking." "So you said I had a YouTube channel, what the hell is this all about? Did someone put you up to this?" He said. "No no, I'm sorry I said I had something to tell you, I do." "Yesterday you were a Youtuber with millions of subscribers, you were also in a relationship with another, smaller Youtuber Stacy Hinojosa." "I wasn't very happy about this so I wished it had never happened, I woke up this morning and it never happened, now you are here with me." I finished. "So you're telling me yesterday I was a popular Youtuber and in a loving relationship?" He asked. "Yes and I shipped you with another Youtuber, so I wasn't very happy. But now her channel is gone." He looked bewildered, "So you want me to help you, by finding Stacy and starting a YouTube channel to get everything back to normal?" He asked. "Exactly!" I pulled out my laptop, thank god for Starbucks WIFI. I pull up Stacy's Vlog channel, "OMG she's so cute, do you think she will like me because I like her!" Joey said enthusiastically. "She will," I said "Bit first we have to give you a makeover, like how you looked when she first fell in love with you." I finished. "Where does she live?" He asked. I pull up her most recent Vlog that is called, "Moving". "Looks like Utah." I replied. "I'm going to buy both of us tickets for tomorrow, and then we are giving you a makeover, and starting you a YouTube channel." Joey was, emo. And I needed him to be, Joey. We went to the mall and got his hair dyed his natural brown. "What the hell were you thinking when you got your hair dyed black?!" I asked. "I was going through a phase ok, and I didn't have the money to re dye it." He responded. Once we were done he looked like Joey again, we went to the next store, to buy him a Microphone, and a camera. When we got back to his apartment, we had him shoot a vlog introducing himself, and then he shot a gaming video. He uploaded the two videos, and the name Joey Graceffa spread around Youtube like a wildfire. When I woke up the next morning Joey texted me,

Joey: OMG Mia you will never believe what just happened to me!

  Mia: What, what happened Joey?

Joey: Stacy commented on one of my videos! She asked if we could collab and I told her we were coming out to Utah, and I got her address, we are meeting up!

Mia: OMG This couldn't have worked out any better, I'm so happy for you. Just make sure you don't mention anything about what happened before.

Joey: We should make up our cover story on the plane

Mia: Yes definitely, and make sure to wear sunglasses

Joey: Sunglasses, it's supposed to rain all day!

Mia: No idiot so people don't recognize you, you became a youtube star overnight, don't you believe me now, you were born for this!

Joey: Yes I believe you, got to go get ready, meet at are gate at 7?

Mia: Yes, buy me a Latte will you?

Joey: Sure but you're paying me back!

I took a shower and changed, On the way to the airport I wondered if things would ever be the same again. But their was one thing I liked most from this all, I'm friends with Joey Graceffa, and soon Stacy! When I got to the gate after a long, grueling line of security, in which I got stopped 3 times because of my vlog camera. Joey was sitting their with my latte in his hand. "Took you long enough" he said. "I got stopped because of my vlog camera, three times!" "Speaking of which," I pulled out my vlog camera and pressed record, "Hey Guys MiaTheMagnificent  here, and I'm here with my friend Joey Graceffa!" I turned the camera towards Joey. "Oi hello everyone!" he said. "So Joey do you want to tell everyone where we are headed?" "To Utah," he said, "To visit StacyPlays, to do a three way collab!" He said. "So next time I see you, we will be at Stacy's house, Joey do the outro for me?" "Good damn bye!" He said as I clicked off the camera. Now boarding flight 123 to Utah. We boarded the plane and I talked to him as we made up our cover story. "Now we met over twitter, and became good friends, and then I inspired you to make a Youtube channel. We were going to Utah to surprise some fans, in a video. That's when she called us and asked to collab." "Got the story down?" I asked. "Yes, by the way I was watching some of your videos last night, I like them. But I think you should also do a gaming channel. Double the money that way." He said with a wink. "I'll think about it" I said to him. At that I got tired so I took a nap, when I wake up Joey is saying, "Mia, we landed wake up" I stir awake, "Sorry about that, have you blown your cover yet?" "No" he responds. We get off the plane and rent a car, I put Stacy's address into my phone's GPS. 30 minutes and a long drive later, we are pulling into Stacy's driveway. As we pull up she is standing in the door. "Hi Joey!" she says in delight. "Hi Stacy!" He replies. They embrace like they've known each other for years. Maybe I over looked this, I wished for this not to happen and now I'm making it happen. The way they look at each other sickens me, but this was all my doing. I could've just let well enough alone, and let fate run it's course. But no not me, I had to be the hero. I realize they are looking at me, and I follow them inside. If anything this will be publicity for my Youtube channel.
