Chapter 8

I held Jazz hands as she laid in the hospital bed. I had to lie and tell the doctors that I was her fiancé so they would let me come in and wouldn't call her ex husband. I got up and stared out the window as the rain drops pounded the glass. I turn to see her sleeping peacefully. I grabbed my keys and left. I hurried and jumped in the my range to go check on the girls. I know the baby sitter must be confused and I know Jazz would want me to make sure the girls are taken care of while she's gone. When I got to jazz house I rung the door bell. The baby sitter came to the door. "Zaire!" I glanced down to see Jada smiling at me. "Morning ladybug." I said to her as I bent down to her level and gave her a hug. I stood up and the babysitter had this worried look. "I have to go to work soon and I really need jazz to hurry up... She never been late coming home." The baby sitter said in panick. "I know, jazz is in the hospital right now and I can take the girls." I told her. "I'm not sure about this." She said with concern. "Look I'm a real good friend of Jazz , the girls know me and I'll take them to her." I told her. She was hesitant but slowly nodded for me to get the girls. "Jade we are going with Zaire !" Jada squealed.

After getting the girls I headed to Tas house. I knew Dj had to be here. I pulled up and there was his car. I got out and helped the girls out the back. We walked inside and the girls sat on the couch. "Who kids are these?" Tas asked. "My girl's" I told her. She was about to ask my another question but when I saw Dj , rage filled my body and I charged at him and fighting him. I kept punching Dj in the face. "How could you G?!" I yelled as I hit him. I felt Enrique and Tyson pulling me off him. I fought and tried to get out their grip but they were too strong. "What the fuck is your problem ?!" Tyson push me in my chest. I bald my fist and stood up in his face. "Do some !" Tyson challenged me. I was about to knock his shit out too until Enrique came in between. "EVERYBODY CALM THE HELL DOWN !" He yelled. I looked over to see Dj with a busted lip and bleeding nose. We were all breathing heavy. "I'm going to go check on the girls." Tas said walking out. "Now what the hell is your problem?!" Enrique asked me looking pissed off. "Asked yo fucking brother , I found jasmine , laying in his house coughing up her own blood." I glared at Dj. "Dj what the fuck is he talking about ?!" Enrique yelled. "Man I don't fucking know ?! How the hell was jazz .... -" Dj cut him self off. "Damn it!" He said to himself. "Damn what nigga ?!" Tyson asked him. "Carmeila set up Jasmine man." I sucked my teeth. Tas came in and joined us. "Where is she?" Enrique asked me. "In the hospital." I responded. "So those are her kids in there?" Tas asked me. "Yea"
"I'm just understanding how can Yal let a female come between us." Tyson snapped. "Tye it ain't about that no more. We going all ride down there to the hospital tomorrow and we need to see Carmeila!" Enrique made the final word and I got the girls and left.  I took the get the girls something to eat and then I took them to them to see jasmine.
"Look at my babies!" Jasmine smiled giving them a hug. "Mommy are you sick?" Jada asked. "Yea mommy got sick.." She looked over at me and mouthed "thank you !" I flashed her a smile to let her know everything is fine. While the girls played on their iPad on the couch I sat next to Jasmine to talk to her. "How you feeling baby?" I asked her. "I'm good, I just feel tired and sore from the bruises." She told me. "The doctors said I get to come home tomorrow night and I talked to the police already." She added on. "That good baby, my family is going to come up here tomorrow to see you." I finally told her. "What ?! Zaire no ! Im not Looking my best and why now?!" She questioned. "Well they were concern when I told them what happen so." She started pouting. I chuckle and kissed her for head. "You'll be fine"
That night I brought a blanket for the girls because Jass wanted them there with her for the night. I went home around 2am when they were all sleep.

Next day🌞

Jasmine pov

I can't believe Carmeila set me up. I promise Ima get that bitch back. I bet Dj put her up to it. The girls out up and the nurse took them to get some food in the cafeteria. Once they came back they told me all about their adventure around the hospital. I remember that Zaire family was coming so I made sure I was looking ok and my hygiene was done. Even though it felt like hell getting up and going to the bathroom.
I laid back and talked to the girls until I heard a small knock on the door. "Come in!" I yelled out. In walked Zaire with balloons and a huge bear. "Awweeeeeeee" I said as I reached out for a hug. I notice he had company with him. I hugged Zaire and we kissed. "Thanks." I told him. "No problem baby." He responded. "Bae this is my family Enrique, Tyson, Dj and my sister Tashiana well Tas." My heart stop when I saw my business partner Enrique. He was in shock too. "It's nice seeing you again miss Klain." He said with that same gorgeous smile. Zaire was confused and so was everybody else. "You too mr. Milan" I replied. "Yal know each other?" The other light skin guy asked. I frowned up when I saw Dj. "Yea this is my business partner." Enrique tons everybody. "What's Dj doing here?" I asked Zaire. "That's my brother, these are my brothers and sisters." He told me. I sat back at too what else was Zaire hiding from me
