Peter Pan And The Great Adventure

When They Met

Peter- (enters through Wendy's bedroom window looking for his shadow when he finds it he tries to make it stick with soap and it doesn't work)

Shadow- (makes faces at Peter Peter- throws the bar of soap at his shadow and then starts crying)

Wendy- (looks over her bed frame at Peter) boy why are you crying

Peter- (looks up at her then goes up in the air and hits his head on the ceiling)

Wendy- (looks up at him surprised) you can fly?

Peter- (looks at Wendy while still in the air)

Wendy- (smiles at him)

Peter- (floats down to the floor)

Wendy- (gets off of her bed) what is your name?

Peter- what is your name?

Wendy- Wendy Mara Angela Darling

Peter- Peter Pan

Wendy- where do live?

Peter- second star to the right and straight on till morning (he said pointing out the window then looks back a Wendy)

Wendy- that's an odd address for letters

Peter- don't get any letters

Wendy- but your mother gets letters

Peter- don't have a mother

Wendy- no wonder you were crying

Peter- I wasn't crying about mothers (he said and sat down on the floor in front of Wendy's bed) I was crying because I couldn't get my shadow to stick and I wasn't crying

Wendy- (sits down next to Peter and smiles) I could sew it on for you (she said, got up and got a needle and thread, and then sits down in front of Peter) this may hurt a little (she said then begins to sow on the shadow to Peter's feet) may I borrow your knife?

Peter- (hands her his knife)

Wendy- (cuts the thread) thank you (she said then handed Peter back his knife) ok try it out

Peter- (puts his shadow on the wall and waves his arms and smiles then turns around and faces Wendy) thank you Wendy

Wendy- (nods once)

Peter- (walks over to the window)

Wendy- (stands up and faces Peter) where are you going?

Peter- (turns around and faces Wendy) I have to go back

Wendy- (nods)

Peter- (turns back around and flies out the window)

Wendy- (runs to the window) Peter

Peter- (turns around and faces Wendy)

Wendy- you'll be back won't you?

Peter- of course in one week

Wendy- (nods)

Peter- (smiles)

Wendy- (smiles back)

Peter- (waves good bye and flies away)

Wendy- (after Peter is gone she walks back into her room leaving the window open)
