TARA POV
I was sitting in the cafeteria with Lindsey when suddenly I heard my name being called. "TARA!" I heard. Everyone's head shot up, including mine, to find Dave running like a mad man.
I rolled my eyes, "What is he up to?" Lindsey whispered and I just shrugged.
He finally reached our table and he slid to a stop. "Tara can I talk to you?" He asked. "Why? So you can dump me again? Oh wait, so you can tell me about all the girls you'll date in London?" I asked him sarcastically.
The look on his face, the desperation and pleading in the brown eyes that I love so much stopped me, making me soften a bit. "Okay, let's talk." I gave in, nudging him to follow me.
DAVE POV
I was surprised when Tara gave in so easily. When we stepped into a quiet area, Tara took a seat on the bench, looking straight ahead.
"So Tara, I wanted to tell you that I've been thinking a lot. I was so wrong the other day when I said those things." I said. She looked at me sharply, "You mean when you said that we won't work, and the chance you might find someone else in London." She said, right to the point.
I scratched my head, "Yes. And I was so wrong, I got freaked out when Roger was saying I was being selfish by not letting you be free and how you could find someone else, and I got irrationally angry at that and I freaked on you. T, I love you and I don't want anyone else, there is no one else for me. You're it." I shrugged, her face cracking a bit.
"I'm sorry for what I said, so incredibly sorry. And I just wanted to know that if maybe you could forgive me?" I said hopefully. Her face was blank for a moment, which made me nervous. But finally I heard her whisper, "I forgive you, are you sure that you want to do this?" She asked quietly. I grabbed her hand, and used the other to tuck a stray hair behind her ear. I smiled, "Absolutely."
Her smiled grew and she grabbed me, and I held her tight.

5 DAYS LEFT
DAVE POV
The days were flying by, and before I knew it, I would be leaving everything I knew, including the girl I loved more than anything.
We were packing boxes of clothes and furniture that would be sent over to London after I arrived. Tara came into our room with two mugs of coffee, steam flowing out of the mugs. She saw me attempting to fold a nice shirt and chuckled softly, "What are you doing?" She asked, setting down the coffees.
"Folding" I replied.
She headed over to me and took the shirt from my hands. "I'll take care of the clothes, how about you take care of the big furniture and bigger items." She said. "What, you don't like my folding skills?" I teased. She arched her eyebrow at me, "No." She laughed, and I smack her butt playfully.
"I can't believe how soon it all is." She said quietly.
"I know, it seems like just yesterday that I was offered the internship and we had 36 days." I stated.
We folded in silence and I saw her sniffling a bit out of the corner of my eye. "Tara?" I asked worriedly. She wiped her eye, "I'm fine, it's just I remember buying you this shirt." She said, holding up a dark blue polo. I smiled at the memory, scooting closer to her. "I'm gonna miss you so much." She said, her voice wobbling, I sat on the bed and pulled her onto my lap, "I'm gonna miss you too." I replied, nuzzling her affectionately.
Five days left, and then everything would change.
