Mitch's POV

I sniffed and wiped my eyes one more time. Then I slipped on my night gown. Buttoning it up to my collar bones.

When I stepped out of the walk in a closet, there was a loud knock on my bedroom door. Making me jump.

I felt like it could've been Jerome, but something still didn't seem right. So I didn't go near it. Or moved. I just stayed completely stiff in my tracks. But I did move to get a little closer to the door.

Then there was another powerful knock. Making me flinch.

I looked at the shadow that came from under the door. I still didn't answer.

Then there was another. Two more after five minutes and then I heard a paper rustling. Then I saw the paper slide under my door.

The silhouette walked away with loud footsteps. When I didn't hear them anymore, I speed walked to the paper and grabbed it. Then I leaned against the wall next to the door and read the paper.

'Hello Michelle. I know the real you. Is it sad that you must live your life as a lie to you and others? I know it is. So come to this destination at the stroke of midnight. To change your life for the better. For others to not learn the real you so it wouldn't ruin them. Take Jerome for an example. Wouldn't he be broken? So come.. And the wish shall be granted'

My eyes widened and I bit my bottom lip. I flipped the paper over and glanced at the map and stuff on the back.

What is this person planning to do? Kill me?

I thought for a long time.

Do I really have a choice anymore? Anything to get out of hurting other people by learning I'm a boy, I'll do.

I sighed and slid the paper under my pillow. Then closed my eyes as I laid under the covers.

Taking a small nap, before I go to my given location.

I yawned and opened my eyes. Then I sat up and rubbed them. I glanced at the clock and saw it was 10:54.

I smiled. Perfect.

I got up and grabbed warm and fluffy robe from my closet. Slipping and tying it on. Then I slipped on my house shoe boots.

They go to under my knees and were really really fuzzy. I only slipped them on cause it's winter, and cold. So... yeah.

Then I grabbed the paper, studied the map in case and stuffed it in my pocket of my soft and fuzzy robe. I quietly jogged to my door and glanced at the room.

This maybe my last time in here.

I smiled at the thought and sighed quietly. Then I closed my door with a small crack and left the room.

Quietly with feather light steps down the hall, and down the stairs. Then left through the back door.

I closed it behind me and sighed. Taking a deep... then started walking into the woods.
