1: what's with all of the errors?
Yes, there are quite a bit of spelling errors in this story. I wrote the bulk of this story on my phone during long, exhausting car drives, and being in the car with three other people didn't exactly make it any easier (my mom has a big car, but still)! Please refrain from correcting me on them because I am in the process of fixing all of those. Also note that all of my stories are just first drafts at this point because I'm the laziest editor.
2: inspiration for this story?
Like I said earlier, long car drives. I was driving home from a funeral over the summer with my mom and I when the rain began to come down so hard in Indiana, so much that driving was definitely off the table. So we had to stop off at a hotel and spend the night so the rain could let up. While I was chilling in my fancy little hotel room, I just got to work on the first chapter and finished it in a day or two. And just like that, the rest was history until vacation ended and I hit a roadblock for four months, haha.
