¤ ¤ ¤ Chapter 1: That's So Sexy ¤ ¤ ¤
"Chelsea?" Mr. Guzman called my name, pulling me out of my trance as I got up and walked into a door with a name tag that read 'Ruben A. Guzman: V.P.', pulling my shorts down that were rolled up a little bit, and glad that I was finally leaving the muggy waiting room. I could feel his eyes glaring onto my flesh as I came in. I sensed hunger, and it wasn't the good kind. I caught him eyeing me from head to toe as I sat on one of the dull green cushioned chairs in front of his cherry wooden desk. I'm not gonna lie, but Mr. Guzman was a very hot 30 something year old man. He had bronze skin, was wide chested, had deep blue eyes with lengthy lashes, wavy and light brunette colored locks in his hair, and had 'yum' written all over his body from his mint collared shirt and silver tie to his rectangular glasses that layed on the bridge of his even nose.
"Ms. Lockwood, is it?" He anticipated, receiving my full attention. "I got an email about requesting a student to help you with the map of the school and showing you your 2nd year schedule." I nodded so he can continue. "Have you met any specific students that may possibly share your same major or show you around?"
"No, I have not. Today is my first day here." I hated lying, but he isn't sending good vibes.
"Do you have transportation to the building since you aren't in dorms? Are your living conditions secure? How about any job references? Student loans or Financial Aid? Is there anything you might need any help with? Anything at all?" Mr. Guzman's monotonous tone did not match the questions he was asking me. His desires fought with that of his intentions, which weren't as good as he presented them to be, and in this circumstance, professionally. I tried to leave out as much details when I answered.
"I appreciate the concern, Mr. Guzman, but I believe I'm old enough to find the results on my own." His blue orbs narrowed when I gave him a slight grin.
He caught on to the statement.
He knows that I can read him well.
"I'll try to notify one of the other staff members in the office when I find someone accessible enough to get me around because you seem pretty busy, am I right?" I glanced at all the files he had on the side of his lamp. He came into realization as I pushed his offers back in his face. While getting up, I smiled victoriously when Mr. Guzman handed me a folder with a couple of papers in it.
"Enjoy Dartmouth College, Ms. Lockwood and I hope you find a pleasing tour guide that suits you well." He replied, anger seething in his voice as I casually stepped out of his office, not letting his words knock me over.
Good job, Chels. You shut him down real quick.
I didn't know I could sense others so rapidly, though.
I thought it was just with the people I knew.
That's really strange.
Everything is becoming so different and people aren't afraid to throw their lustful actions out there any more.
How does he still have that job?
I pulled my iPhone from the back pocket of my short jeans so I could look at the time. It was already 1:49 p.m., I already missed half of my day being in the office and getting my finishing touches to my transcript from the counselors. I retraced my steps from when I was with Liam, and began following the path out of the building with the enchanting antiqued clock over the top. Those are one of the best things of this college. The historical background and astonishing facts about the founders and how they organized and reorganized all of this, keeping everything and everybody together.
