Only a Kiss

Chapter 1

"Bryan lets go get some food I'm kinda starving."
I said while sitting next to him.
"No, Sapphire if you want food so damn bad then go by yourself. What the fuck can't you see i'm busy playing Call of duty!"
He said while pushing me away.
"Ok Bryan! I'm sorry damn! I'll see you later."  I got mad so I left... I felt my eyes water up as soon as I was opening the door.
"Ok! Leave I don't care!"
I turn back One last time and he didn't look at me at all. I slammed the door.

I left crying out of Bryan's apartment. I felt so bad by the way he yelled at me. He wasn't like that at all, he was different. Sweet, caring, he was always a gentleman. But then it all vanished in an instance. I closed my eyes and everything was gone. The sweet lovable guy I knew disappeared.
I got into my car and drove Home since I didn't feel like going anywhere.

I was going up the stairs to my apartment when I notice that I now have a neighbor. He was outside taking boxes in. He turned and smiled.
"Hi, I'm David Tolino I'm you're new neighbor"
"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Sapphire Ferrer and welcome" I smiled back at him and he was good looking for sure.
"Thanks! Well I have to finish unpacking but see you around?" He smiled
"Sure, and see you around bye" smiled and I unlocked my apartment door.
I walk in and I took off my boots. As always I turn on the Tv so I won't feel lonely, I went to my room and left my Jacket and Scarf on my bed. I looked at myself into the mirror and I saw myself and I stared crying. I started thinking about my life, thinking of how Bryan ended up the way he did. He never told me even though I kept insisting on him to tell me.. I never got an answer from him. So I just learned to let it go. I got up from my bed I get my phone and it was already 5 pm I went to the kitchen and fixed myself a salad with chicken. I ate and cleaned a little bit I went to go shower. I got out and it was 8 pm. I put on my gray joggers and a white tank top. I blow dried my hair and I decide to put it up into a messy bun. I went to the living room and started watching Tv for about 20 minutes when then I hear someone knocking on my door. I got up and opened the door (of coursed I checked first) and it was David! He came and he looked very fancy.
"Hi David come on in"
"Thanks and I was just passing by because you were the first person to talk to me today and I was wondering, I don't know if you wanted to go to dinner tonight with me? Of course just as neighbors/friends."
"Umm I don't know David we barely just met"
" I know but it's not a date just you know so I could get to know you more. Please?" He gave me that smile again, that makes me blush for some reason.
"Umm ok then" I felt uncomfortable saying yes because he was good looking and I was blushing as well. 
"Great! Thank you for saying yes. And Imma pick you up at 9 ok?" He smiled again
"Ok yeah that's fine and you're welcome" I smiled back
"Alright then see you at 9" He smiled and went to his apartment
"Alright then" I smiled and closed the door

Oh shit now I have an hour to get ready
I ran to my room and looked through my closet I didn't know what to wear to be honest.
After trying on around 5 dresses I chose a long one leg opened red dress and I paired it with black heels. Then I did my makeup and I did a natural look I didn't want to look over exaggerated for tonight, but it was a fancy dinner. I put a bold dark red lipstick. It looked perfect. Now all I needed was my hair I only had 20 minutes to do it but it was in a bun so I took it out of the bun and brushed it and since my hair is naturally wavy I just did some loose curls and a little hairspray and got perfume on myself and my black purse and I went out my room and just sat down in the living room waiting on David. I was waiting when I get a call from Bryan. Ugh what is he gonna say now?

"Hello"
"Look I'm sorry for what I did.... I didn't mean to yell at you"
He sounded fake
"Look it's fine... I-"
"Ok then see you later bye"
"Ok.... Bye" weird.
As soon as I ended the call I hear a knock on the door and I opened it and it was David he now looks better than before.
As soon as he saw me he was speechless.

"Woah Sapphire you look beautiful"
He smiled and I blushed... It has been a while since a guy has made my blush.
"Haha thank you! You look great as well" I smiled.
"Well thanks so.. Should we go?" He extended his arm for me to hold. And I took it. And I smiled like an idiot. Was I falling for my neighbor?!
We walked down the stairs to his car. He had a nice car....He lead me to the door and he opened the door for me. As soon as I was getting into the car I heard my name. I turned around I was shocked!

"Sapphire!"
