I woke up to sounds of clanging downstairs. I attempted to get up to see what it was but a strong embrace wouldn't let me up. I turned to see what was holding me but a deep voice said "Don't go."
"I'm not going anywhere. There's something or someone banging around downstairs."
"Its probably my mom. She always does that in the morning after a big hangover." Said Michael.

Michaels P.O.V
I really wish I could tell her the truth but instead I have to say it was my mom and not my boss rummaging through the drawers in the living room, trying to find a weapon to hit Lindsey with and take her to a warehouse. To sell her and make money to buy more drugs. Dammit, I hate lying to her.
Lindsey's P.O.V
"Are you ok Michael?"
"Yeah..... no I'm not ok."
"What's the matter?"
Michaels P.O.V
Dammit I need to get her out of the house. Like now.
"Lindsey you gotta get out of here, like now." I said.
Lindsey looked up at me with confusion "Why?"
"Because thats not my mom downstairs making that noise and I dont want you to get hurt. I'll explain everything later I promise. Just go please."
She didn't say word she just nodded her head.
She was walking towards the door about to open then I quickly pulled her back
"The window, the guy thats downstairs wants to take you, so when you jump run and dont stop running until you get home."
"Ok. I will"
I quickly kissed her bye before she exited the window.

Lindseys P.O.V
I bolted home, just like what Michael told me. Once I reached home my parents were waiting to talk to me.
"Lindsey. We need to talk"
