Partial Truth

It's been a couple of days some the whole this went down. You decide to act like an adult rather than a teenager who just had her heart broken. So today you were going to go to Neal's place to check on him.

You knock on the door and Mozzie opens it up with a smile. "Hey Moz. How are you?" you ask him. "I've been good. Just helping Neal recover from the tragic incidents," he says while doing a variation of hand gestures. As you walk in, you see the same woman from the hospital that was in Neal's room. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail and she wore jeans and a sweatshirt. You look over to Neal and slowly make you way to him. You put your hands on him and cup his face. "How are you," you ask with a sigh. "I'm okay. How are you," he asks holding your hand. "Better than you I would say," you say and he gives a light hearted laugh. The woman approaches you and shakes your hand. "I'm Sarah. Nice to meet you," she says. "I'm Katie. I work with Neal," you say. Neal goes to grab your hand and you jerk your hand back. "We're together," he tells Sarah. "Are we really?," you say quietly but loud for Neal and to hear and for him to give you a worried look. "Well David should be back in 2 hours. And I'm going to go out in a couple minutes but it was nice to meet you," she says. After she leaves you walk out onto the balcony. "David is Neal's son?," you ask Mozzie. "Yes. Him and Sarah were married, had David and after couple years got a divorce," he said like he was reciting from a book.

You walk back into the house and sit on Neal's bed. You press your lips on his gently and he kisses back. "Neal, I need to know everything. I need to know the truth," you say in a whisper. "I'm sorry I can't. Not right now," and with that you leave the apartment not wanting to deal with Neal.
