Day 2

Aaron's POV

I can't believe I said yes to camping with these idiots. They think that they saw bones and shit. We are in a god damn forest what do you expect!? The only reason I agreed to this stupid idea was because Charlotte was going. We've been best friends since we were toddlers. I barely know the other girls here. I'm not usually one to complain about being stuck with 3 girls, but these ones are so annoying.
I have heard the rumours that Sarah, the chick who went missing, haunts these woods. It became a popular camping site after she went missing, someone filmed a disturbing video in the woods of 'paranormal activity' going on. It went viral. I don't believe the film.

Charlotte and I's tent started to get light, I walked out into the fresh morning air. It was such a beautiful morning. I heard small clanking noises and looked down to see Mollie and Chloe were already awake, making breakfast. Great, now I have to talk to them. "Hey ladies" I say. They don't answer, they look exhausted and pale. "Uh, you guys alright?" I ask them, "I don't really wanna talk about it to you, Aaron" Chloe says. "Someones got their period" I say while walking away, "what is wrong with you?!" Chloe yells. Oh god, I am gonna get it now. "Seriously, I can't believe you said that! You have no idea what happened to us last night" Chloe screams at me. What is she talking about? "What do you mean? What about last night?" I ask her. She gulps, "Mollie, do you want to tell him?" Chloe asks. Mollie looks at Chloe and gives her a worried look. What the hell is going on? "Stop messing around guys!" I demand, "we aren't!" Mollie finally says something. Mollie exhales "last night, I couldn't sleep. I started to hear these weird noises, so I went out to see what it was. I saw something, and tried to find it. Before you know it, I was far away from the campsite and I tripped on something, only to realise that it was bones of some kind. They really looked like human bones. Then I eventually got back to the campsite, I don't even remember how I got back. I woke Chloe up and told her what happened then we heard a noise. We both went out and saw someone, it was definitely a person. He had a flashlight and was looking around our campsite. He saw us and we found out he was the forest ranger." Mollie suddenly stopped, taking a sip of the coffee Chloe had just made her. "And?" I ask, "he told us the story of Sarah, he said we shouldn't have camped here. There is a man he's seen around here a couple of times, he looks suspicious, he said we should be careful" she says. "Okay then, thats weird" I state blankly. All of sudden I hear screaming and I look towards my tent and run to see what the matter was. "Charlotte!? What's wrong?!!" I ask, "HELP, PLEASE OMG!! HURRY!!!" Charlotte screams. I enter the tent, Charlotte was squished in the corner of the tent, her arm was stretched out. I look towards the spot that she was pointing to in the tent. I see a giant black, furry spider. Oh my god, really?! "Charlotte, did you really have to act like that?!" I ask her, suddenly relieved that it wasn't anything bad. "Yes!! Get it out!" She demands. I grab the spider and go deep into the forest as commanded by the girls. When I get far away I put the spider on a tree and begin to walk off. I start to step and hear a crunch. There on the ground lay some human-looking bones. They look just like the ones you see in your science room. You'd think the ranger would've found these and called the police. Why hasn't that happened yet?! I run back to camp to tell the others. They are all awake now. I can tell that the look on my face shows what i've seen. I don't even have to speak. "You saw them didn't you?" Chloe asks, and I nod my head in reply.
"Maybe we shouldn't have come here" Maddi says.

Mollies POV.

"Guys are we really gonna let some bones that could've been here for a long time scare us away? Come on we've all been through worse things than bugs, spiders and bones. This could be our last weekend away before graduation lets just enjoy it. Okay? Who's with me?" I say looking at all of my friends, they all reluctantly agreed. "Alright what should we do today to get our mind off all this drama?" Chloe exhaled, "lets go for a swim, the weather is great and the lake is nearby!" Offered Maddi. We all agree and begin to get ready to go to the lake.
