101 Ways to Find Love

After spending all first period talking with Jake and Paul, I head to my second period. I walk into a big room with kitchen utensils hanging on the walls. It's a cooking class. After looking around and seeing none of my friends, I sit down in the desk in the far right corner and wait for class to start. Right before the bell rings, Paul rushes in, sees me in the corner, and sits next to me. We talk about our summer and personal life. He asks what classes I have and I hand him my schedule. We continue to talk all period, much to the teacher's annoyance, but we don't care. The bell rings and I start to think about Jake, and a smile starts to grow on my face. I go to pull out my schedule to find my next period, but Paul never gave it back. I look around to see if I can find him but he's long gone.

I find the office and see a bunch of students in there asking about schedules. I get in line and take out my phone to try and pass the time. In the reflection, I see someone standing in line behind me. I turn around to see Jake staring at his schedule. I sit there for a second thinking if I want to say hi or not. I nervously tap him on the shoulder followed by a "hey." He looks up and looks at me with his wild green eyes and calmly says "oh hey, Dylan right? From first period?" He's smiling now. I see that he's schedule says that he has gym for 3 different periods. "I see they fucked up your schedule too, huh?" " Yeah, it sucks." I was about to say something but someone taps me on the shoulder and points to the reception desk. I walk up and apologize and ask for a new schedule. I walk out of the office just in time to hear the bell ring.

I head to fourth period. Band. Time to see all my friends. I walk in to the big wooden double doors that lead to the arts section of our school. I walk past the art room, the show choir room, the back stage of the auditorium, and at the end of the hall is the band room. I start to walk in when I hear someone yell my name. I turn my head to see my friend Alex running down the hall toward me. Just then I feel some one run in to my chest nocking me to the floor. I look forward to see a guy with golden blonde hair and beep blue eyes. He has pail skin that makes his features stand out more. He looks up at me and we lock eyes for what feels like an hour.  Alex runs up and asks what happened, breaking our trance.Alex is a small energetic girl with short brown hair and brown eyes. She's wearing a black lion king shirt and pink high waisted jeans. Her best friend Adele is next to her. Adele is the same height as Alex and has long curly blond hair. Adele is quite but when she dose talk she's funny and kind. I look at the guy who ran in to me as we walk past each other and ask Alex if she knows who he is. "Oh him, yeah he's the new kid, Trevor."
