"Don't go in here disrespectin ha Desire" August said parking. I sighed and slightly rolled my eyes.

"Ma you don't even know tha whole story yet"August said turning my face towards him.

"But--" I said before he cut me off.

"Ain't no if's and's or but's about it. If ya don't know nothin don't say nothin until she ready to talk to ya about it and that don't mean ignore ha either. Okay ?" August said and asked.

"Okay..." I said slightly rolling my eyes.

"Roll em again"August warned. I stayed silent, he got out opened my door and pulled me into him.

"See ya later ma"August said. We kissed and I walked away. I unlocked the front door and walked in locking the door behind me. I walked down the hall and into the living room to see my Mom watching tv with covers over her, she looked drained.

I studied her face and her eyes were red from crying , there were bags under her eyes from no sleep and she looked pale. As soon as she noticed me she slightly smiled and patted the space next to her for me to sit.

I sat down and she pulled me into her holding onto me. I started to cry and heard her sniffle from time to time.

"I'm sorry for not telling you"My Mom said after a while of silence.

"You deserved to know" My Mom said lifting my face making me look at her.

"I'm sorry for reacting the way I did" I said.

"It's okay baby cause I would've did worse"My Mom said causing me to laugh.

"You ready to hear the whole story ?" My Mom asked.

"Actually I want to meet him the right way ... and ask him why" I said.

"Why what ?" My Mom asked.

"Why he came back after all these years..."I said shaking my head.

"Listen it's gonna be some stuff that you don't understand"My Mom said.

"Ma I'm almost 18 I can understand alot more than you think" I said causing her to laugh.

"Alright well I'll set ya'll up a meeting and ya'll can talk things out"My Mom said and I nodded.

Rayne Pov

I woke up and checked my phone seeing it was 11:15 am. I got up , went to the bathroom and did my hygiene . I layed out some clothes for me to put on once I got out. Once I was done I stripped and got in the shower.

**🚿15 minutes later🛁**

I got out , dried off and put on what I layed out (in the mm). I grabbed my iPhone off the charger and text RJ back saying 'Goodmorning😘💕'.

I walked down stairs and into the kitchen to see Kaylen putting iHop on the counter. I walked and he jumped when he saw me.

"Shit girl , you can't be popping up like that .. Almost made catch a heart attack" Kaylen said holding his chest breathing fast.

"How in the hell do you -- I'm not even" I said laughing and sitting down.

"What you doing today ?" Kaylen asked handing me a plastic plate with pancakes, omlet , bacon and a big hasbrown on the side.

"Anything but be here" I said , and did a little prayer then cut into my pancakes.

"You still upset about that R ?" Kaylen asked eating some of his omlet. I slightly rolled my eyes.
