He didn't know that he was doing something wrong, when he was doing absolutely nothing. He thought they just needed some space. He was never made aware.
They were perfect together. They made everyone smile with ease. Happiness was inevitable with them. They were the dynamic duo. Sadly, they were.
She was the closest thing to heaven that he has, losing her meant falling into the endless of Tartarus and never coming back alive.
He led a grey life before meeting her, everything had a routine and the pain he bore was crushing his soul little by little. He was losing all hope as he waited for hell to break loose. He wondered if his one true love was either too late or never even coming.
It was a stereotypic "how we met" story. He saw her in the store, and his eyes grew big, his cheeks burned, he had butterflies in his stomach, his hands were sweaty and shaking. Then he knew he was in love.
He started playing with his feelings, having a twist here and there and she loved every little bit of it. They were a remarkable pair. His body would ache after all the work he has done to make each other happy. He knew the pain was the consequence of their joy. So he suffered in silence. Suffering, no one knew. The agony was minimizing every time other people would smile as they make the best music to everyone's ears.
It was of course, haltered to a stop. Every story had to, including theirs. It was the saddest goodbye the she did. She was broken, and he was bruised and scarred. Everyone knew it was the ending. But as he attempted once more, it became worse than it could've been.
He stayed there holding her with such care, people passing by without a care in the world that they witnessed the best love story there is in the world. Between man and music.
People say the root of the great music is the heart of the musician. Without the heart, it would be meaningless and mundane. It was him without her.
