I understood and found myself with my jacket off and in my backpack and my wings half extended. Tim has seen my wings before but Chase hadn't seen them, and Amber seemed to know me even though i don't remember meeting her before today. "Woah!" Chase said, mesmerized by my wings. "We don't have time to  stand around an admire bird girls wings! Lets go!" Amber yelled. I was a bit hurry by her calling me "bird girl" but i picked up my bag anyway and extended my wings fully, taking up almost the whole room.

"Lets go." Tim said starting for the door. It slammed close right as he reached it. We tried breaking the lock but nothing would work and the door wouldn't budge. "Stand back everyone." Tim said, already charging at the door. We quickly got out of his way as he smashed right through the door and fell on the other side into the middle of the hall. "Nice landing there." I joked. "Shut it." He said, sounding more like himself again. Chase ran past me, knocking me down. "Ow!" I yelped as i hit the floor. "Oh, sorry." He said helping me back up.

"Out of my way bird brain." Amber said, pushing me out if the way as she ran into the hall. Tim was still on the floor rubbing his head as Amber tripped over him. Chase ran up to her and leaned over to talk to her "Perhaps you should leave the running to me Amber." He said, trying not to laugh. "Shut it!" She said getting back up. "Awe but its so fun messing with you." Chase said with a smirk.

We turned to go out in the hallway and was met by Mrs. Dades standing in the doorway holding Tim. "Put him down!" I screeched at her. I wasn't going to loose him after finding him all these years later. "Oh dearie, don't you know anything?" She said in a really creepy voice that sounded almost like a snake. Then i saw it, she was part snake! She has a human torso and a snake body instead of legs. "Master will be pleased that i brought him four instead of one"  Chase got in front of me and Amber, "Hey! I can fight my own battles Mr. Marathon!" Amber yelled at him, She seemed to have a nickname for everyone.

"No, don't you notice something about BH?" Chase said. I looked at him and realized what Chase meant. Tim was to tense, I've only seen him like this once before when a white coat was hurting me, throwing me around and broke one of my wings. It was not a pretty sight. We didn't see that white coat again. Tim started to break, breathing heavy and faster. my eyes widened as i realized what he was preparing for "Hit the floor!" i yelled just as bone head rounded and rammed his head onto Mrs. Dades sending her flying down the hallway and making a loud burst of air from the force of the impact.

We all got up and looked down the hall. Mrs Dades was out cold with her scaly tail twitching. "We have to watch for the teachers." Amber whispered. "why?" me and chase said in unison. "Because most of the teachers are just like her!" she said pointing at the snake creature. "That's why." I looked at the snake that was once my teacher. "Yay. just what i need, more monsters on my first day day at a new school! The same reason i have to retake my freshman year!" I said frustrated. "I'm never safe."

By now the students where out in the hall wondering what happened. They where all looking at me, no not me, my wings! I really needed to get out of there. "Guys we should really get going." i said. "Then lets go birdie!"Amber yelled as she as we started to run for the exit. "wait!" i heard a teacher scream from behind us, but we where already outside.

One of the teachers must have called reinforcements because there was scaly snake people with guns everywhere. I went to take off when i remembered the others couldn't fly. All of time seemed to freeze, bullets seemed to fly in slow motion. Chase picked up Amber and ran out of firing range. Something flew down from the sky and picked me up. "Put me down!" I yelled and extend my wings as much as i could and theashed around, trying to get free. "Ari! Calm down will you? I wont just let you die."
