"Thanks," Luke says as the lunch lady places a carton of milk and whatever-the-hell-that-is meatloaf on his tray.

Luke looked down and grimaced.

Everything went in slow motion, he tripped and fell on his face.

How cliché of me. Now all I need is a prince to sweep me off my feet. Luke thought.

He saw a pair of red converse.

"Hi."

It was a girl.

Oh. He thought. Not what I was expecting but okay.

"Excuse me, do you need help?"

Luke nodded. He slowly stood up and grabbed the hand that she offered him.

"Thanks," He thanked her.

"I'm Tatiana," She said to him.

"Luke. Thanks for helping me."

"No problem. Come sit with me, I have gummy bears," She wriggled her eyebrows at him.

"Thanks, it's not like I have any other friends to sit with anyways ," Tatiana just laughed and led him to a table.

She passed him a pack of gummy bears and opened a packet of her own.

Luke ate in silence as he listened to Tatiana talk about her best friend who was sick and wasn't at school.

"He's really cool. He likes Green Day, All Time Low and listens to Taylor Swift with me," She talked about him.

"Wait you like them too?" Finally, another Green Day and Taylor Swift fan.

"Yes! Do you?"

"Oh my god, of course. Billie Joe's voice is absolutely beautiful," Luke sighed. "I really really love Taylor as well."

"You are officially my best friend," Tatiana wrapped her arms around Luke's shoulder.

"You're my new best friend as well." Luke said to her. "I'm calling you Gummie from now on."

"No, don't call me that," she whined.

"Gummie." He teased
