A Night to remember

Jessie spied through her window and notice all the cars parked outside her street. People seemed to be coming and going out of the place and it seemed like a busy Subway station. She switched off the lights in her room so that no one would catch her spying and even wore a black cap to blend into the darkness. She wondered if Steve would even  notice if she was absent. She spied for 5 mins and decided to call it quits until she saw Bird(steve's dog) barking out the door and into the street, Behind bird were Adam and Brody laughing . Jessie cursed the jerks and went down to provide shelter for poor Bird. She opened the door and before she even made a call for Bird..he ran into her home ."aww did the dirty bastards hurt you.. come here boy... you are a brave dog and i guess i have all the company i need tonight"she said rubbing her face against bird. Jessie's home phone started ringing and she knew who it was. "mom stop spying i'm home.. when are u coming back?" she asked her mom. "Well i'm not spying and u didnt pick your mobile.I think my meeting will run a little late , you guys go to bed and dont wait up for me and lock all the doors and especially your bedroom" she said. "Mom please end this call before i hang up on you"Jessie said disgusted. She now could hear a man's voice in the background . "Ok gotta go honey.. Sleep soon" Amanda(Jessie's mother) told before hanging up her phone. 

Jessie had just gone up to her bedroom door when she heard her door bell ring.She cursed and went down to open the door and was taken aback for a moment and bird (Steve's dog) came running out to the person standing in front of her. "Thank god he is okay.Before i could stop those idiots he was running to ur house and Why aren't you at the party?"Steve asked a little worried and now cuddling with Bird. "I think he is fine.. he is not hurt .. i'm just not in a mood for a party.."Jessie said trying her best to convince Steve. "i'm not leaving till u walk into that party with me"Steve said sternly and Jessie felt uncomfortable. "Seriously.. i'm just tired and all i want to do now is sleep!"Jessie started to convince . "me and bird are going to wait for you to put on something and we are leaving with you"Steve said and entered her house and sat on the couch. "well i guess u have to just miss your party then"Jessie said.Steve ignored her and continued to pet bird and looked at the clock. "Fine give me 5 mins" Jessie said and went upstairs quickly. She was glad she got hte invite she originally deserved and was now in panic as she could not find anything to wear.

She opened her closet and immediately pulled out the little black dress she had recently got at the mall.The neckline was plunging(she didnt know what she was thinking when she got the dress).and the dress ended mid her tigh and she looked gorgeous. Since she didnt have much time, she just ran her fingers through her hair and she thanked god that her curls from the morning didn't loose their definition and were now loose and gave a romantic feel to it. She put on some foundation and concealer and applied some lip gloss and grabbed her heels and ran down. Steve was still waiting and now she realised Lucy was in her living room.She looked at the time and realised it was 9.45 and she had taken 15 mins to dress . She froze mid stairs and peeked to see what was going on in her living room. Jessie thought they looked picture perfect. Steve,Lucy and the dog .. She decided not to keep them waiting any longer and went down. "i'm sorry i made you guys wait" jessie said looking at steve and trying to avoid any eye contact with Lucy. "its ok.. You and lucy should go back to the party , i'll just leave bird at my cousin's "Steve said and went out the door with bird. Steve's cousin Laura stayed a few blocks away in the same town. "you look great and nice shoes"Lucy said smiling . Jessie now smiled at lucy and saw that Lucy was dressed even better, a white body hugging dress which was super short and a startling red lip to finish her look. "Please you look way better " Jessie said to her as she locked her house and put the key under the flower pot as soon as Lucy turned to head towards Steve's house. "i'm sorry for barging into your house. Steve called me to get some supplies for Bird so he could drop him off at his cousin's"Lucy apologized. "No worries.."Jessie said and then they entered the house of music. There was music playing and so much noise . Lucy held Jessie's hand so they wouldn't be lost in the crowd and before jessie realised where they were going it was too late. Lucy was taking jessie to her group of friends who were by the looks of it having some drinking contest. "Whoooo... Lucee where have you been. U better watch out .. you are going up against Tracy"Amy said before she realised Jessie was along with Lucy. "Easy.. i can beat her anyday with my eyes closed."Lucy said calmly. "Looking nice there .."Adam and brody said to Jessie as she walked over to lucy's side .. and rolled her eyes at the jerks who chased out bird. Tracy smiled a wicked smile and handed a bottle of beer to lucy. "three .. two.. one .. go.."Amy said and the girls got their heads up and started gulping down  beer as though it was water. Surprisingly Lucy had finished her bottle way before Tracy did."Hi i thought u were not coming ...."someone whispered in her ears from behind jessi. Jessie turned around and saw Chad carrying 2 breezers. he handed her one. "Well i missed you so much i had to be here"Jessie said teasingly. Chad laughed. Jessie now noticed that she was getting an evil stare from Amy."Chad darling what took you so long"Amy asked as she came over to Jessie and took Chad's arm into hers and looking at Jessie. "Are you going to drink that.."She asked Jessie and before she could answer she took the breezer from Jessie's hands and started drinking. Chad let go of Amy's hand and took my Arm into his and walked Jessie away from the mean girls. Amy stood stunned and went back to her group of friends. Jessie was surprised herself and she saw that they headed to the dining room and Chad  never leaving her arm and grabbed her another breezer. "Thanks" Jessie said embarassed by the situation.Chad  led her out to the Backdoor and noise suddenly seemed to fade and she noticed Drew and Rachel sitting outside by the pool with their arms interlocked and their legs in the blue water of the pool.  "She is a crazy woman.. She treats me like i'm her Accessory "Chad said looking away  as they headed towards her friends. Jessie understood that he was taking about Amy. "Hi .. i'm sorry for ditching you guys "Jessie apologised. Rachel looked over her shoulder and smiled and rested her head on drew's shoulders."You made it "Rachel said probably a little drunk. Jessie and Chad also sat down next to Rachel and Drew. Jessie realised that a few people were now swimming and all the party goers who need some quite had slipped out the party for some fresh air.After 5 mins of quite time with her friends, they decided to head back to the party. The party was just like any other high school party. People slipped in the alcohol into the punch and everyone seemed to be dressed up.
