Aria woke feeling oddly excited to see Mr Fitz today she couldn't look at him the same again because she had always thought that he never actually liked teaching or that it truly made him happy but it did and he understands how Aria in a way her parents do not. In fact Aria felt comforted by the thought of that. They are not that different,he believes there is more to Aria than she appears. It's like Ezra is looking into the window pane of her soul. Aria's own parents should be the ones to believe in her and the things Aria desires to do with her life. She feels ashamed to have to just accept it.
Things can change for Aria now though she can't possibly allow people to just walk all over her or allow herself to listen to anyone about what she should do with her life.
"Good morning I hope you've read those pages I told you about last week because guess what quiz today ." Mr. Fitz said.
"Great another chapter I didn't read." Ali said.
"Yeah me too." Aria said
"Remember do your best and turn it into me when you've finished." Mr.Fitz passed the quizzes out and once he made his way to Aria's desk he gave her this little grin it was hard for her to remain calm because that little grin wanted make her smile right back, but no it would seem kind of odd to other students.
Aria looked at the quiz, it had always seemed normal for Aria to never get nervous for a test if anything she would be nervous if the teacher thought she cheated because she finished her test so quickly. No Aria had always tried her best in anything and her parents were kind of pushy to getting her to finish her homework on time. these things get any easier. Sometimes Aria had to lie to Ali about not doing her work, she wasn't naive to think that Ali wouldn't want to copy her answers.
As soon as she finished circling in the last answers to the questions she sat up and walked towards Mr Fitz's desk. He had one elbow propped up leaning on his chin. He was distracted by something on his laptop but as soon as he felt her presence his eyes focused on hers.
"Done already?" He whispered.
"I guess someone made the quiz a little too easy." Aria smirked.
Mr. Fitz rolled his eyes and continued working on whatever he was on his laptop.
"See you 5th period."Aria stated.
"Don't be late." He retorted.
The rest of Aria's classes fly by pretty quickly slow I couldn't wait for photography class with Mr. Fitz I mean every girl would die to be in my spot, but I really didn't care for his looks though his chiseled jaw and dark curly hair and boyish smile did make my insides swirl. It was precisely the way he spoke when he would read out loud to the class I'd be hanging onto every word. I could fall asleep listening to his strong masculine soothing voice.
Quickly Aria shook her head and focused her attention more on a calculus book than the different characteristics of Mr.Fitz her teacher.
The bell rung and students exited the classroom to the final class of the day and it was finally my class with Mr. Fitz. I headed towards his classroom and Ali was leaning against a wall with all my other friends.
"Aria over here." Ali yelled"Hey I can't hang out I have to go to class."
"Wow since when are you a goody girl oh wait you've always secretly have been."
I ignored her and opened Mr. Fitz's door. He sat there eating an apple and grading papers oblivious to my presence his desk was always messy and he had books stacked to the side which I wasn't surprised to see.
"Hey."
"Geez! Aria you scared me."
"Sorry."
