Casper was sat in his house throwing kitchen knives at the wall. Mother burst in shouting at me."What have you been doing!".I throw another knife ,it sticks in the wall like a nail holding a shelf. My mum sighs.

Hazel rankuff ,replacement for effie trinket who was married and had children,Stood up and said may the odds be ever in your favour . She stared at me.
Since the war the tributes are chosen before and hazel is told all about them .
I knew I was going to be chosen.I knew the odds weren't in my favour.
