Prologue

It seemed like so long ago, when I meet him. He was different than the other kids at school. He would wear a hood over his head, not showing much but sometimes, I would get lucky and see his dark green eyes, eyes that were so hypnotic that I couldn't stop staring at him and feel my heart beating faster. I never understood why I felt this way about him, or why I had to feel like I needed to be close to him. I remember when I saw him standing by himself in the play yard looking at the sky, and nothing else.

At first, I just looked at him, until he turned his eyes on me and I felt my feet start to move to him. Even when he moved away from me, I couldn't stop myself from stopping right in front of him. I keep my hands in front of me, and my body was swinging back and forward because I was so nervous. "Well, you came over here for a reason, what do you want?" I felt my body stop right when he talk to me, his voice was so deep for his age, I didn't understand but it was just like him, amazing.

"Well... I wouldn't say I come over here for a reason... I don't know why I came over here." I put my back to the wall and slide down as I sat only inches away from him. "It was like I was drawn to you." I say in a whisper. I look over at him to see him the only thing I could see is his eyes, and a secret smile on his face, "That happens a lot." I hear him say and his eyes turned to me. I feel my cheeks start to get warm as I look to the ground. We sat in silent, just listening to the other kids play and the other side of Gotham going on its business.

Gotham... My home since I was born, my mother and father are one of the best psychiatrist and doctor in Gotham, and my grandfather... My grandfather is the richest man in Gotham, almost owns half of it. How did I, a girl who wasn't as beautiful as her mother or smart like her father or even a businesswoman like her grandfather get to be part of this family?

"What's your name?" I hear breaking me from my thoughts. I put my head up and look at the boy next to me who is still staring at me. "It..." His eyes were like looking into my soul, wait... Did they get lighter? Like a gray? "It's what?" He says his eyes fully gray now. "Willa. My name is Willa Frost." I say. The boy raises an eyebrow, "As in Dr. Jack and Elsa Frost daughter?" He asks which makes me nod. "Yeah... I hear...." Before I could finish, the boy jumps on me and pins me to the ground. His hands wrapped around my arms, he was holding them so hard, and it felt like my arm was burning.

"You are the one that he wants, the daughter of the snow queen!" He yells. "What are you talking about!?" I say almost in a scream. The tighter he held onto me, the worst the burn feeling got. "What do you want!?" I yell trying to push him off. "Stay away from me! Or I will take what he wants!" He yells which just makes me scream until a teacher runs to us and pull the boy off of me. I feel tears going down my face as I pulled my knees to my chest and watched the boy try and struggle out of the teachers hold, "Stay away from me Willa! And be care of Lucy! Don't get close to Lucy!" He yelled before the teachers finally took him into the school leaving me shaken and alone.

"Willa! What happened baby?" I hear my mother yell as she ran over to me and pulled me in. It's been about twenty minutes since the boy attacked me. I kept my hands over my arms where the boy held me down; I was so scared I just didn't understand what happened. "Willa my pet, what happened? You need to talk to me." I hear my mother say as I looked at her. Her long snow white blonde hair was tied in a tight bun and she was still wearing her white doctor coat. My father was right next to her, his shiver hair was slicked back and he had his glasses on, he was holding her hand looking at me.

"It... This boy attacked me. He... His so shy and I wanted to be friends with him. Everything was fine until I told him my name, then he just... attacked." I feel my tears go down my cheeks. "Oh Willa... my sweet girl, we're so sorry." My father says as he grabs my hand but then I just flinched. My father looks at me, "Willa, let go of your arms please." I shake my head, "No... It hurts." I say. "Willa, please." My mother sweet voice purrs. I sigh and move my hands and see my mother quickly cover her mouth and my father started screaming to call the nurse.

I didn't know why they were so scared until I look down and gasp, on both arms, were burn marks, shaped as if someone was grabbing me. "What... How..." I start to say as the nurse walks over to me and starts to put an icepack on my arms and wraps them up. "Willa, what happened?" My mother asks and tiles her head to the side and I see her snowflake tattoo. "It... It's from that boy... He must have burned me somewhere." I say. My mother looks at my father, "Jack..." My mother whispered as she picks me up. "We have to see Bruce." My father says as he kisses my forehead, "Don't worry my sun, we'll get you all taken care of." He said as my mother carried me to the care.

I looked up at the school to see the boy looking at me from the second story window. His hood was off and I could see he had raven black hair that had red highlights going through it. He places his hand on the window and I see it start to melt under his touch, a wicked smile on his face as he starts to laugh. I couldn't take it anymore as I passed out before we reach the car.

Hey guys! So here is the second book to Love Locked Up! I'm really not sure how this is going to work just yet, but we'll see if something happens. This book will mostly be through the eyes of Jack and Elsa's daughter Willa. And that lovely name was from the winner . Thank you so much for the name! I love them and can't wait to use the boy name.
