Diana sat up slowly, wincing in pain. She clutched her head, and surveyed her surroundings. It appeared that she was trapped in a room with several others, none of which conscious, but when she tried the door, it opened. After exploring briefly, she concluded that she was trapped in, not a room, but an entire house, complete with furniture. Except that there was no food.  A scream of frustration was heard. It came from a small room located at the front of the house. Again, another howl erupted from the room and shook the place. A small glow came from the room, as well as the sound of windows smashing and shouts of rage. The ground rumbled and soft warmth spread across the hut. Screams still echoed through the house and every time one rung out, the heat intensified until the floor was actually on fire.Being a Goddess, Diana was unaffected by the fire, but it was still uncomfortably hot. She frowned, and followed the screams of frustration. She located the source, and opened the door.

Onyx opened her eyes to hear unbearable loud screams. She grabbed out a knife from her pocket and threw it at the door. It swung open and she stood up, looking at her surroundings. The howling had ceased because of the loud bang the door made.

Diana jumped at the sound, and the sudden silence before she could find out who was making such noise. All flames went out, which was a relief for the other unconscious bodies.

"What the heck is going on here?" She muttered to herself, but at the same time hoping someone would answer. She also hoped that some other bodies would wake up. She hated being alone. A sudden laughter filled the halls. Kinda crazy like. The ground flamed up again as smashing continued. Now furniture was banging against the wall, breaking.

"Whoever is doing this, STOP!" Diana screamed at the top of her lungs. "You're wrecking everything we can use to get out!" She tested a broken window. As she suspected, a faint ripple emerged from where her fingers touched the force field. "And there's a force field around the house! So we couldn't escape even if we wanted to!" She added.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I WON'T ACCEPT IT!!! NOW SHUT YOUR MOUTH PATHETIC AND LOW GODDESS!" Screamed a voice. Storming out of the small room was a 19 year old girl. She wore black shorts, ripped at the bottom, and a black and red crop top that nearly chocked the neck. She was tall and elegant. Her eyes were a gleaming green and her hair was blonde, but has red tips. Her perfectly plucked eyebrows were angled in anger and her ruby red lips were pouted, teeth clenched. Perfectly manicured hands were clasped in fists as she stalked down the hall towards Diana, high-heeled, high-kneed boots clicked on the tiles. She cracked her knuckles with the horrible 'snap'. This wasn't no ordinary girl, but a goddess. A powerful one too. Diana stood in fear, not moving an inch as the goddess stormed up to her, grabbing her chin and pulled it to her face.

Diana scowled at her.

"I am no 'low goddess', so let. Go." She hissed at the stranger. Fear still showed on her face, but it lessened with every word.

"Haha, I'M NOT GOING NO WHERE AND NEITHER ARE YOU! I AM A GODDESS OF SOULS! I OWN EVERYONE'S SOULS! EVEN YOURS!" The woman pulled Diana towards her and nearly shattered her ears.

"I have no soul." Diana hissed, her golden eyes glowing. With a wave of her hand, she summoned her favorite weapon, a 2 meter long ebony staff with a nob of twisted wood at the top. She brought it in between the two, and pushed with all her might. The stranger let go, and stumbled back. "Now, who are you?" She breathed.

The woman grabbed Diana's wrist and spun it round her back so it nearly broke, whispering in her ear as done," don't you dare ask that question! And EVERYONE has a soul! EVERYONE! I AM THE CONTROLLER OF FATE AND THE BRINGER  KARMA! A LOWLY HUNTING GODDESS IS BARELY OF MY POWER!" Diana flinched a the woman howled these words into her ears.

"Calm down." Diana ordered, using her other arm to slam the butt of her staff into the other goddesses stomach, the skirts of her long, white, sleeveless dress in no way cumbersome as she circled the stranger. "Perhaps together we can figure out how to escape."

Then the woman pulled back and ran down the hall. A door broke down and more smashing. The woman held a giant war hammer in her hand and kept pounding it on the wall and window. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she hit even more frantically. She cried one word. It was a name. She muttered it over and over. Every time she said it would have risen in pitch and got louder. Until she was screaming at the top of her lungs, hitting pitches not known to man. "SHADOW!!!!"

Diana ran over to the woman, grabbed her shoulder, and spun her around to face her.

"Who is Shadow?" She demanded to know, her voice soft and sympathy showing in her golden eyes.

"SHADOW!" she cried one more time before collapsing on the floor then passing out.
