Matthew told Kendra that there is magic in the waters of Cinque, Terre  strongly suggesting they honeymoon here instead of Kendra's choice which had been Brazil. Kendra remembered thinking it was a load of BS, but when Matthew said that his grandparents lived there it was a done deal. Kendra could not wait to meet the grandparents that Matthew adored and now as Kendra stood ankle deep in the slightly cool waters, smelling the fresh Italian air around her  Kendra was taken to a magical place of Beauty. The Sparkling in her eye was as bright as the sky with the rays of  a sparkling gold sun that shined on top of her hair cascading down on her long dark arms.

As if Matthew could read Kendra's thoughts he sneaked up behind her and with his strong arms held her tight circling her waist with his hands, pressing his fit but stocky body up against her backside. Kendra let out a soft sigh that could not be heard but Matthew felt it as he felt all of Kendra's small bodily reactions to his touch. Those little reactions of Kendra's made Matthew go wild.  Tightening his grip around her waist slightly and with a heated whisper in Kendra's ear Matthew said "See your husband was right, your feeling the magic now" Matthew's eyes twinkled knowing how Kendra was going to react.

Kendra broke free from Matthew's grip and turned to face him with a coy stare and both hands on her hips making her tall body frame take a seductive pose "Pretty sure of yourself huh?"

Matthew walked over closing the small gap between them with two strides and then took her waist and fit it up to his waist, marveling as he always does at how they were a perfect fit. Kendra was his perfect fit in most ways, not just physical but emotional and spiritual as well. He seen the heat in her eyes and it burned him down to his soul. Matthew nuzzled Kendra's neck with his nose and raised up hungrily craving her mouth in a passionate kiss on the beach but just as Kendra closed her eyes her phone started beeping that annoying song that gave Matthew headaches.

Without hesitating Kendra opened her eyes back up and took the phone out of her jacket pocket. With a freshly manicured fingernail she  pushed the button to accept the call.

Watching his wife go off in the distance ahead of him with her floral skirt swaying in the gentle breeze, hair that looked like strands of woven chocolate mixed with glimmers of silver, her full bottom moving side to side as if to tease him into going mad with longing, Matthew slowly started walking. Lagging behind about a mile back from Kendra, Matthew put his hands stiffly in his jeans pockets trying to curb his annoyance. Matthew continued to watch as Kendra's facial expressions changed and seen how tight the phone was pressed to her ear, this is when he had no doubt it was Mary Anne on the phone. He looked to the ocean and realized even a world away he was not alone with Kendra, she was always partly somewhere else. If it wasn't the business it was music, if it wasn't music it was dancing, it was always something to take her away. He knew this when he married her but it was still a problem and one Matthew was determined to find a fix for, the sooner the better he thought then Matthew took his shirt off throwing it on the shallow sands and dipped into the refreshing waters of his childhood deciding to find some peace of his own until his wife returned to him.

Mary Anne turned her cellphone off and went over in her head what she and Kendra had discussed. So far Mary Anne had interviewed ten people to hire as an assistant to help them out but none of them were nowhere near qualified for the position. None of them had any real good skills at selling and to promote you had to be able to sell. Chuckling Mary Anne thought back to Jenny, the elderly woman whom thought she was going to just bring coffee and type things up. Mary Anne had to explain that was a secretary job and they had one of those already. Seeing the saddened look on Jenny's face broke Mary Anne's heart so she gave Jenny a good reference at the law firm she uses from time to time. After landing the job with just the first Interview, Jenny had sent Mary Anne flowers and Mary Anne was smelling them so lost in thought she never heard the knock on the door.

Charlie arrived outside of KeKe & Mimi Publishing Firm thirty minutes early. Not sure how traffic would be Charlie decided it would be better to be early rather than late. Now standing outside the office that had the name in bold blue blocked letters painted on the front of the door Mary Anne- Co Owner and knocking Charlie got no response, so tapping louder Charlie noticed the door creak open. Stepping inside Charlie made a sound kind of like a strangled cough.

Mary Anne heard Charlie make that annoying sound and turned her jaded green eyes in Charlie's direction. She noticed the ripped jeans, the denim jacket, the uneven parted blond hair and the friendly stare. She gaped a little feeling a bit nauseated all of a sudden. A tingling sensation of something she rarely felt took a hold on her body shaking her up emotionally. Finding her voice she finally spoke after some time breaking eye contact with Charlie first. "I am sorry but I am having an Interview in a few minutes" Mary Anne looked at the clock on her laptop and noticed she had about 15 minutes til Charlie Compton was suppose to arrive. " you are going to have to leave, we are not taking any clients today."

Charlie stepped forward and stuck out a stiff right hand "well I believe I am the person you are waiting for Ma'am" Charlie smiled sweetly up at Mary Anne. "My name is Charlie Compton, and I am very interested in taking this position."

Mary Anne took Charlie's long, thin hand in hers and felt the firmness of Charlie's grip. A bolt of shock went through her and she blushed slightly. She still felt uneasy though and she just could not seem to put herself together. The nausea was coming back.

Noticing how pale Mary Anne was getting worried Charlie "are you alright?" Charlie said just as Mary Anne fainted dropping to the ground with a huge thump on the tiled floor.

Rushing over to Mary Anne, Charlie picked up her limp hand and at her wrist checked for a pulse. It was a bit weak so Charlie picked up the cell phone that was lying on the desk beside them and called 911. Looking down at Mary Anne, Charlie noticed Mary Anne's tattoo on her ankle that read the words "Intelligence without Ambition is like a Bird without Wings" Charlie smiled and thought that was one of the most beautiful sayings, deciding to write it down just as an Ambulance could be heard in the distance.
