Once there was a gigantic crab named Mr. Harben. He lived at the bottom of the deep blue sea of the Black Pearl ocean.He is known to be the bravest and strongest amongst the crabs for he was never scared of anything. He has his mighty armor worn around him known as the ‘shield of courage’. He is living alone in a mushy seabed of corals.
One day, he decided to visit the Blue-Bubbly-Shells near the house of Spongebob.
Arriving at the Blue-Bubbly-Shells, he saw all colorful shells with its different sizes. Some are big, some are small and some are just of medium size. But the one that caught his attention is a small faded pink shell hovering near an orange coral.
“Hi shell!” Mr. Harben exclaimed.
Because the shell is so timid, she didn’t responded.
“Hi there! May I know your name?”
The shell’s lips remained sealed.
Mr. Harben, the gigantic crab got frustrated and crawled away.
‘Too bad, she’s seems to be my type.’, he thought.
But upon crawling away, he heard a soft chortle and saw from the corner of his eyes the tiny smile that curved on the shell’s mouth.
The crab quickly crawled back to the shell.
“Hey! I heard you’re chortle. Does it mean that you want me to stay and accompany you?” the crab asked.
However, the seashell remained silent.
Weeks past and the scenario is still the same. Mr. Harben still lingers beside the shell’s side despite its aloofness.
“I just want to know your name.” he stated.
The shell looked up and half smiled. Mr. Harben, for the first time seeing the shell smile made his heart skip a beat and…………………..
unconsciously KISSED her.
The shell was outraged and made her ‘CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!’ giving signal to the crab that she is flattered.
For the first time, the shell spoke. “Why did you kissed me? Do you love me?” the shell asked in a soft but aghast voice.
Mr. Harben was taken back by the question.
“Isn’t it obvious enough? I have spent ample of days staying here with you just to know your name and ask for your love.” the crab replied, flirting.
The shell jolted with the revelation and thought for a moment.
“I don’t find you attractive at all.” the shell replied.
Hearing this, the crab got disappointed and sadly said, “Ouch! My lovely shell, you gave me such a chink in my heart! Will you please tell me the reason why you don’t like me at all?”
A tear drop came streaming down from her eyes.
“I’m sorry, but I was once in love with crab like you. But things didn’t go as smoothly as we planned.” she looked straight into the eyes of the crab and continued, “We are not of the same kind and therefore we cannot be together. My name is Crizvy and I’m so sorry that I let you wait for so long. I’m so SHELLFISH”
“I know that this will happen. I don’t really expect anything in return. I just want to be with you even if it is just for a couple of weeks. I just wanted to take a CHANCE with you…I thought I was strong enough, but upon hearing this, you demolished the bravery that was once build so strong around me. But THANK YOU for being honest.”
Mr. Harben never looked back. He managed not to see Crizvy again, he survived not hearing her voice again…but NEVER once in a SECOND did Mr. Harben not THINK about HER.
