Rant Two :: Tay-Tay Swift
Okay, so this is not a rant on Taylor Swift herself, but a rant on the hate she gets. And no, I am completely fine if you just really don't like her music because you just don't or it's not your genre, but hating her because she "dAted so mani guyz!!11!" or "stul mi man hurry stiles" is NOT a valid option.
Now, I am not a huge, crazy Taylor Swift fan (though I do admit I really love her music), but I just feel like it is completely unfair and stupid of people to hate her over things that are none of their business. So what if her relationships haven't worked out? She's only twenty-three, what do you expect?
A lot of the relationships that people have thought she was in were just rumors -- that never were confirmed -- created by the media because just as any other celebrity, she can't breathe towards someone with out anyone assuming they've dated. But just to have an amount, let's say she's dated ten people in the world. There's slightly over 7 billion people in the world. You expect 10 out of 7 billion to be the one for her?
And why is it everyone's business whether her relationships break at all? You could get a normal girl who's going to through the same thing and you wouldn't care at all because she's not famous. It's not like Taylor Swift is like . . . how do I put this in a subtle way? Um, doin' the nasty with all these guys. She's just having a relationship with these guys. The relationships may not be very spanned out in time, but they're still relationships and she's still just a girl trying to fall in love like everyone else.
So stop calling Taylor Swift a slut and a whore just because she dated Harry Styles who you love and are going to marry and are going to have babies with and are going to b 1n luv wit 5ever!!!!11!! Yeyeyey!
The hate was always there, but when Taylor dated Harry everything exploded and it was as if just then, her number of relationships became apparent to the teenage population of One Direction fans who will repeatedly state that Taylor is a whore because she dated this many guys and blah blah blah blah I want Harry's D but Taylor took it wah wah wah blah blah blah b-t-dubs I'm only like twelve years young hollaaaa blah blah blah.
And just because she has songs about break-ups and all that means nothing. She has plenty of songs that aren't about that stuff and if you dare come up to me and say Fifteen is another one of her break-up songs I will literally find you and bitch-slap you in front of your friends and family -- not even joking.
So moral of Taylor Swift's story: never date a teen British sensation -- or better yet, don't date at all and become a nun!
