So this is my final project that I had to do for my creative writing class.

The story behind the name, and half the poems, is that my teacher was, for lack of a better word, a moron. She told us at the beginning of the semester a little bit of what the project would be like and I thought I would be fine getting it done. Well, when we finally got to the last few weeks of school and she informed us that we would get it the last full week of school, my mom and I both talked to her to see if there is anyway that I could get the project early due to the fact that I have ADHD and it takes me a lot longer to get things done and I have an extremely hard time getting anything done under that kind of pressure. On top of that, I was working at least twenty hours a week and had four other finals to study for--one of which was my AP Statistics exam. She completely ignored it when I asked about getting the project early and when my mom emailed her, she replied saying that she didn't believe I have ADHD because the school didn't have anything on file stating I have it, or that I'm on medication for it, and that I should have no problem finishing the whole project during class time that week, which was about forty minutes a day, for five days. The thing though, is I informed her the first day of class that I had ADHD and the school knew that I had Adderall on me every day. So my goal with the project was to basically shove the fact that I do have ADHD in her face. She still doesn't know that I skipped school the Friday's that the other two big projects we had were due because I wasn't able to get them done in the short amount of time she had given us. I ended up having to have my mom do the children's story for me, after I outlined it a little bit, and I reused old stories because I didn't have the time to write new ones.

The project itself was three parts total. The first part was to write six original, page-long, poems as well as a one-paragraph rationale for each poem. The second part was to write three "short" stories, each with a minimum of three characters and two main events, that had to be at least three pages long (double spaced). The third part of the assignment was to write a children's story suitable for children around seven years old. It had to be at least twenty pages long, and fully illustrated. She is absolutely insane. And she doesn't know how to write creatively either, yet she's a creative writing teacher. Does that make sense at all?
