Loud sword strikes ignited the room with sound. Crystal chandeliers hung nonchalantly on the open air. Yes, there is no ceiling, just open air. This may seem strange to you but to some...it really isn't. Golden walls shone brightly on the marble floor, as if to say look at our beauty and admire us. Red-velvet carpet was on the floor of the golden-handrail staircases which dwelled to the right, left and centre of the building with no ceiling. The centre staircase spiralled up into the air, only to disappear- much alike the two other staircases, though, they did not spiral. The building was empty. Only chandeliers, staircases to nowhere and floors and walls were to be found. There was no door, secret entrance or ladder to climb over to get inside the building. Yet, two managed to get in. Of course, a spell was needed. This spell was a good spell, only because it allowed anyone to get in to anything, any where-well, not the human body or other species. Although, one of the sword fighters could, she just doesn't want to..."What are you doing in Western Satyuk?" I said in between sword strikes. I had locked eyes with the dragon in human form. He had unusual forest-green eyes whereas I had sharp hazel eyes.
"You really want me to answer you whilst fighting you with the powerful sword Ovrertes?"
"Ha! You Dragons are all the same, so full of themselves." I laughed.
The Dragon swung his sword filled with anger, he didn't hesitate on any of his swings. His face was starting to look like a dragon the was wasting all his energy, oh wait, he was. I gracefully dodged and twirled around his anger-driven attacks. He stopped to breathe but I suddenly flung her sword at him whilst simultaneously pulling out a small dagger, I then also forced the dagger into the air towards him. The Dragon expected the sword and smacked it away with ease but then the dagger came. He spun to be clear of the sharp item but it cut the middle part of his arm.He dropped Ovrertes and clasped his left arm whilst plummeting to one knee.
"You thought that I was going to taunt you," I said in a know-it-all voice. "Well, you were wrong. You should've taken action before..."
"You've taken it." He interrupted.
"What? Did I take something? What was it?" I questioned curiously.
"Sadness." He replied simply.
"Umm...what?"
"When some bleeds, an emotion is stripped from them. Usually one of the five stronger emotions," he paused as he breathed heavily and trying to recall his strength. "Happiness, sadness, rage, calmness and love."
"I didn't..."
"Yes, yes. Your mentor always slaughtered."
"Of course, now I'm free from it all though."
"Is that why you joined the Police of Satyuk?"
"I have been offered something else!" I said defiantly.
"I know."
"What? Never mind. Now are you going..." Before I could speak any more, he stole his own life.
"Well. That was...odd."
I walked over to the body and it disappeared with the sword. All that remained was his clothes and a note. I
opened the note. It read:Faith Aftih.
We need you. Go on to your new job. We will be waiting at the first mission you will be given. We have something to show you. Wear black.
Signed: Peril.Huh, how subtle. Peril. What kind of name is that? It must be a trick. Although, how did Peril know my name, my full name even? I will do it anyway, just to find out who they are. Wait, what is my first mission? How come Peril knows and I don't? Ugh, too many questions. I should go back to Satyuk Base and quit and the police then say yes to my new job.

"Faith, reconsider. Please. I say this on behalf of the entire police force of Satyuk."
"I am really sorry Quintin. Truly. I love it here but now that I don't need a mentor I can get a job that I really want." I said sympathetically.
"Huh. Well, if I can't persuade you." Quintin sighed.
Quintin was the head of SDP (Satyuk Department of Police). He was also my mentor when she first joined. He had blonde curly hair that created a small fringe just above his eyebrows. Good physique, posture and manners. He also always, always wore a green jacket, white gloves and black jean-like-trousers and shoes. He was very kind too. He looked down, tearing his blue eyed gaze away from me. I walked out.
